LR3 4.4L V8 - Exactly what I needed
This part is exactly what I needed to replace the leaking o-rings on both VVT sensors. If you see oil leaking onto the valve cover of your LR3 from the sensor locations, this is most likely your best fix. Parts were in stock, shipped fast, and good price. Just make sure you clean debris and oil off the valve cover FIRST, remove the old ones (needle nose pliers worked for me), lubricate the new o-rings with used oil before pushing them into place, and make sure they are properly seated against the valve cover. Simple and inexpensive.

Easy & cheap fix for annoying burned oil smell problem
I had burnt oil smell in my Jaguar XJ8 for a while. First thought some gasket problem and a lot of money to fix. Recently noticed faint smoke coming out from under the hood and found the smoke coming from around the VVT connector and saw small oil leak. Oil leaked and lands on the engine and burns. This time the leak got bigger and I was able to see the smoke of burnt oil.Replaced 2 VVT seal for $20 and no more burnt oil small. After googling, it seems it is quite common problem, and in this case, a very simple fix.

2005 Ford Thunderbird
2005 Ford Thunderbird v8. Rocker cover seals around the VCT solenoids begin to leak. These are a perfect fit. Very easy to install using nothing more than a screwdriver to pop out the old seal and a large socket to cover the surface area of the new seal to install it. It's not completely necessary but it can help. You can usually just use your fingers to push it in it's that easy. No need to remove the valve cover or the VCT solenoid
