When i purchased i noticed there was two designs. I wanted the one that the back popped out to be a brush holder. I placed in my sink and kept the water running and just wanted and scrubbed. It does good on the more dense hair brushes as well but to be effective make sure to use lots of soap and water.Some of my foundation brushes handle didn’t fit but 1 or 15 brushes I’m not going to complain.The paper towel is not need but I put one down just in case.

Provides surface to clean makeup brushes and a way to stand them up to dry without them becoming contaminated. It’s silly and plastic, and plastic never goes away. However I can’t imagine needing to replace it; seems solid and indestructible. I wash with Dawn after finished using it to clean brushes.

A great cleaning mat! It's small enough to hold in one hand, but still large enough to be a functional cleaning surface. I recommend adding a drop of some kind of soap to the mat to hasten the cleaning process. I got the cat shape in the "new orange" color, believing it to be more like the coral-pink color shown online, but it is in fact more orange in person (still a nice color though!).My only criticism: the boxy shapes on the back of the mat that hold your drying makeup brushes are much smaller than anticipated. If you have several very skinny makeup brushes, then it's no problem, but I had trouble finding a way to set up 4 brushes with an average 0.6 in (1.5 cm) diameter base. I ended up propping 2 of them up in the cat ear sections, which worked fine, but be aware of this limitation if you have several thick-handled brushes. Perhaps the material will become more elastic with time and use, but for now the boxes are pretty stiff and not very forgiving when you're trying to jam makeup brush handles into them.

The media could not be loaded.  This is such a cute and though brush cleaner! I do my makeup about 4 to 5 times a week, just the basics and don't really need a professional battery operated cleaner that would take space and not be used as often, is pretty enough to have on top of your desk and you can see in the video is thick and sturdy, it can also make a cute gift as it comes nicely packaged, the card is cute but needs some help with grammar 🤔 all in all is great for the money...

My daughter and DIL loved getting this in their stocking. Perfect addition for their all their make up brushesFits easily on their bathroom sink counter when in use and easy to store away.

My larger brushes with large handles do not fit in the brush holder. But the brush cleaner does make cleaning the brushes a lot easier, and it's nice to be able to stand smaller brushes up in the holder part to dry. The larger brushes are still laying down on the edge of the sink, but oh well. Decent, useful product for the price.

I tried the product the same day it arrived. I cleaned Sigma brushes (duo-fiber and synthetics) and the real techniques "facial expert brush". So here are my first impressions:- Material: silicon material is not the softer one in the market, but it definitely helps out with a fast and effective cleaning.- No bristles loss: No bristles came off (and I was harsh with the RT brush).- Effectiveness: the mat did a pretty good job. Except for the RT brush, I cleaned all the brushes very quickly. I had issues with the RT brush, but I think the brush and the bristles' material are the problem.- Size: this was a surprise for me. I thought the mat would be smaller than it is. However, I must say that it has the perfect size for a hand. It is comfortable to hold, and it does not slip away.- Holder brush: I guess the material could be more flexible to fit different sizes of brushes. As you see in the picture, the RT brush did not fit.I am giving this product 5 stars, although the issue with the holder. Overall, I am happy with the purchase and the quality.

Serves the purpose. Little small. Some of my brushes fall out of it, too top heavy. But for the amount I use it, it works. If you have a lot of brushes and varying sizes, this would not suffice for you.
