These light strips are absolutely beautiful, although they're not easy to install.Attaching it to an open 3 pin ARGB header and getting it to work in RGB software is easy. The hard part is getting the lights to diffuse properly when set to 1 static color, which they won't do unless the strip is mounted in a straight line. This is especially an issue when mounted vertically. The LEDs are very finicky about their angle inside the white housing and will show up as a dim spot if not lined up with its neighboring LED. I found myself adjusting the clips for over an hour just to get 1 strip looking like the marketing photos.Many types of adhesives don't like to stick to the light's diffused housing, which is likely made out of durable, yet non-stick silicone. The included magnetic clips prevent the strip from being mounted straight in some cases, causing the light to not diffuse properly. SilverStone including more than 3 mounting clips for each strip would've been appreciated for certain configurations.FYI, both ends of the cables are female 3 pin connectors with a removable male to male adapter. This makes the strips seem reversible, but they're not. SiverStone was thoughtful enough to include 2 individual 3 pin extension cables with removable pins, which I now greatly prefer to standard ones.This product is expensive, even compared to Corsair, but they should be considering SilverStone packed 40 tiny RGB LEDs in each 17.7in long light strip with standard 3 pin connecters. Corsair isn't being consumer friendly by using non-standard JST connectors. This makes Corsair even more expensive because their fans and light strips require multiple $10-20 adapters if using another hub from another brand. That, or buy Corsair's expensive Commander Pro hub.Getting more LEDs with SilverStone, instead of buying into Corsair's lighting ecosystem is a much better value. SiverStone's light strips are double sided, making them unlike any other brand as far as aesthetics go.
