CricutDisney Cartridge, Tinker Bell & Friends

This is my first Cricut cartridge and I spent several hours watching some good tutorials so I would be ready to cut and prepared for problems. Everyone advised this was one of the harder cartridges (great, I pick the hard one to try first) to work with because there are so many pieces that are so tiny, so I took the advice of many and cut larger images, about 4.5 inches in size. Boy, they weren't kidding! The eyes are the hardest to piece. I have to say overall Provo Craft does not do a good job with directions or tips. The cartridge itself should have some sort of rating system to tell consumers how easy or hard it is to piece. If you have a dozen or so hours to spend first finding some good tutorials on the web and another dozen or so hours figuring out how to cut and piece, this is your cartridge. It does make cute images, but there is a lot of work involved. Just be aware you will have to search elsewhere how to cut it and there are NO tutorials how to piece it at all, you are on your own. The one helpful tip I picked up from a tutorial that I found was to pull all the extra paper off your cutting mat and leave the pieces you are going to piece together stuck to the mat. It does help so you don't lose little items like the lips and eyes pieces, they sure are tiny, even when you cut the image large.

I was really worried about this cartridge because many people have mentioned the parts are small and hard to work with. This happens to be true with any cartridge with many layers or parts. I however, have found this cartridge is extremely cute, and I love working with it. The flowers are so beautiful, I was not expecting that. A lot of tinkerbell for those who love her. I only have boys, so I am lucky enough to make birthday cards, or pages for scrapbooking of my nieces. It was worth the cost, and I would buy again for a friend.

This a great cartridge for Tinkerbell lovers of all ages!! The pixies are great with lots of detailed layers but make sure you get the colors right for little girls or you will be corrected with a quickness!! ;) However, beyond the Tinkerbell and friends, there are lots of beautiful flowers and other items that can be used for decorations, cards, or anything else you can imagine! Layers are a bit tough, so it is a bit rough for beginners, but very worth the time and effort needed to make your own pixi hollow!!

I bought this to help decorate for my kiddos bday party. We were doing a pirates and pixies theme and I was able to make a lot of great decorations using this cartridge. One of the best was a big decorative Tinkerbell sign that I put on the backyard swing set with some flowers around it. I bought the Cricut markers and my daughter is always asking for me to use the Cricut to draw giant tinkerbells.

Other reviewers were right, this cartridge is very difficult use.I bought it for making my daughters 2nd birthday invitations. After spending a little over 2 hours cutting out images I had to quit and make another plan. I attempted to make 4 inch Tinkerbell images. The detail of the wings were so delicate, the Cricut kept ripping the wings as it cut. I changed blades, cutting mats, pressure and card stock. Nothing worked.Also, I am not a newbie to using the Cricut either.

This cartridge is way too fun. I made tinker bell. If you're a beginner, make sure to enlarge her some. Mine was about 3.5 inches and they're were a lot of tiny pieces. Still it went together so cute! Looking forward to trying the others.

I bought this to make decorations for me grand daughters birthday party and I love this cartridge! I don't recommend it to those with a low patience level, as some pieces are small and delicate, depending on the sizes you cut. But they turn out beautifully and I'm glad I purchased it!!
