It looks like it had good intentions
When you unbox this unit, you have high hopes. It comes with the proper waterproof connectors and if you understand a bit of what you are doing, the 3 tab connector goes to the motor side and the 2 pin goes to the battery, it seems like it will be just the ticket!Problem 1-it comes with NO instructions. So as you are hooking it up you have no idea which polarity the output goes, and if you hook it in reverse you run the risk of biffing your entire electrical system. So now you have to hook up the stator side, fire up the bike, and measure the output.Problem 2-it didn't work. Without a charging load, the output measured 15,5 volts, but as soon as you hook it to a battery it completely stops working. Does not charge at all. I had AC from the stator going in but would not charge at all.I returned this one and won't be bothering with this brand again. Subject bike is a 2003 Triumph Tiger 955.
