It's not metal but chrome plated plastic
The metallic loking part is actually not metal but chrome plated plastic. It's durability is suspect. The motion sensor works fine.

I have brought it for my Royal Enfield Meteor.It easy to install. Battery life is too short. Hardly 1 week if you run bike average 25 km per day.Positive think I have brought battery from watch shop. Cost of 6 battery is Rs15 /-After 1 week you need to buy one set of battery (6 pieces)
