Carhartt Carthage Safety Glasses

I’ve bought the cheap pairs of dust eye protection glasses many times and I thought that was as good as it got. How can you improve sunglasses with foam lining? Well I should’ve known Carhartt can always do it better. As a female, I always find it very irritating when the foam lining is so thin that I have to push them up as far as they go and then my eyelashes get tickled. These have thick foam so they make almost a seal around my eyes with nothing touching my eyelashes. I deal with dust just about every day on my property and these do a better job at keeping dust out of my eyes than any product I’ve ever had before. They only had one photo for them and I assumed one pair was the elastic band and the others were regular glasses. I was very happy to find that they came with both and they’re interchangeable :))) when I first tried them on the foam lining popped off and I got so scared that I broke them but you can take the foam lining off and they become regular sunglasses !!!! I’ve never been so excited and surprised by such a simple product lol. And they’re extremely flexible. That’s always been an issue for me when sunglasses are too tight and stuff they give me a headache. These are perfect in every single way and I will cherish them forever

Great product for the money. I really like the option of being able to take the arms off and use the retaining band instead. They are fairly comfortable to wear. I have always had issue with getting small particles of debris and dust in my eyes while mowing the lawn. These helped out tremendously with that. Even on hot days the lenses did not fog nor did I have an issue with getting sweat in my eyes. I was surprised with how breathable these are on my face without compromising safety. The only down side is they did not seem to fit the bridge of my nose the greatest but that could just be me. The tint of the lenses was a bit darker than I expected as well. Overall, I would very much recommend these.

I work outside, generally mowing and weedwacking, on a VERY dusty property. I bought these because my previous glasses wouldn't hold up to protecting my eyes from sand and bugs. These did the job PERFECTLY. I had no issues whatsoever. And fogging? None. 90 degrees and humid today, wearing a gaitor, and had not a single bit of the glasses fog up. Idk what everyone else is doing to fog it up, but it's wrong. Wear the strap, it's worth it. Plus they're extremely comfortable. I was genuinely impressed. I have a big head, and didn't feel squeezed or uncomfortable at any point while wearing them. I'm blown away. Probably the only product that was actually worth a 5* review I've ever purchased, if not more.

Nice quality and good fit, but the foam seal has gaps, presumably to let air in, but it also lets some dust in. I bought this for mowing with a zero-turn. It blocks 90% of the dust and grit, but not all. I may try filling the gaps with silicone. Best solution so far is swim goggles.

I bought these after cataract surgery because the wind made my eyes water. Eight weeks later, and I'm still wearing them when outside on a windy day!

My new lawn tractor kicks up a ton of dust and dirt, so I was searching for glasses that would protect my eyes. These are perfect. They are comfortable to wear, and they keep the dirt out. To be honest, I probably look ridiculous on my tractor, glasses for my eyes, a dust mask, and headphones to protect my hearing... but it's worth it.

Good product that I have purchased many times. They are durable but scratch so easily.

No son gafas de sol, para airsoft o paintball; son muy buenas gafas de trabajo. Se llegan a empañar si estás con la boca cubierta con bufanda o barbijo en clima frío, pero en clima templado o cálido, no se empañan. Sirven muy bien para lo que están diseñadas, trabajar en un taller o en carpintería y evitar con partículas extrañas o polvo en los ojos. Los he usado en días ventosos, con lluvia, granizo e incluso en una tormenta de arena y me sirvieron muy bien. Dependiendo de la cabeza, puede que como lentes queden un poco flojos en algunos casos, pero, al usar la correa que tiene para usarlos como goggles, los aseguras muy bien y son muy cómodos. El único contra es que, si te los llegas a subir y dejarlos en la frente, se te marcará el puente para la nariz en la frente sin darte cuenta de lo cómodos que son.
