I bought this for our next door neighbor's birthday from our daughter. They love playing Minecraft and this was the perfect companion to the Minecraft tshirt we got. This is one of the smaller sets, but it has the most popular character, a villain, and 2 popular animals, which gives this set a good amount of playability. You can also make a section of block pop off from the pretend TNT. It works on like a teetering setup. You push one end down and the other side raises up and lifts the block up and off like it exploded off. So eventhough this is in a small box, it packs a lot. I recommend for any Minecraft fan. These pieces comes in 2 separate clear packs in the box. Try to stop your little one from tearing the box and packets open right away, because the directions help you put this together in steps. Because this isn't a huge amount of pieces, it's not as big of a deal, but all Lego's come separated by steps to help. My 8-year old daughter is obsessed with Minecrft. from playing the game all day to watching and recording her own walk-throughs to decor. When I saw this it was originallty $10 I wasnt really feeling the price. When it went down to $8 and change- I brought it. It is very cute and my daughter built it in less than 10 minutes. if I would have known it was so detailed, I would have brought it at $10

I bought it for my 6 year old son because he loves legos. It was simple for him to put together!
