Tangy ranch
Dan's ranch is delicious - tangy and not salty. I use it on popcorn and pretzel snack mix. Give it a try.

Better than bottled Ranch! *But pay attention if buttermilk is hard to find
I've been trying to reduce waste and packaging, so started making my own ranch dressing with mixes vs buying in single use plastic bottles. I started out with Hidden Valley Ranch mix packs (we are all creatures of habit), but when the store was out, I saw this and bought it instead. What a serendipitous moment! I've never gone back.Dan's has so much of a 'cleaner' flavor than Hidden Valley mixes, and 10 times more than their bottled variety. In fact, a few months ago I ran out of Dan's packs to make my own, so bought a bottle of H.V. to get by for a bit, and was surprised that it totally grossed me out when I used it. It was a gloppy meh, with an aftertaste of chemical wastewater. That's when I started buying Uncle Dan's *CREAMY ranch mix in bulk, and have never gone back.*Which comes to the word to the wise, and reason for my 4 instead of 5 stars. I once accidentally bought their 'classic' ranch, which required buttermilk, which is nearly impossible to find in my area, and despite several attempts at substitutions, I could never get it quite right.Uncle Dan's doesn't show instructions on how to make when purchasing on Amazon, so just be aware of that if you also may not be able to easily find buttermilk. As one other tip, make sure you have a mixing bowl, a whisk, a funnel of sorts, and a storage bottle that has a wide enough opening to be cleaned, and a wide enough tip to not clog when serving. (Seems like a lot, but actually the money you will save by mixing your own will make up for it). After some trial and error, the bottles below ended up being perfect. They hold exactly one mixed packet, and with a rinse of hot water (sometimes a tiny drop of dish soap) they clean up well in the top rack of a dishwasher. Anchor the cap by simply putting the 'spout' of it over one of the prongs of the top rack.https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08DSVPD4Z/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Excellent flavor & thickness factor
I'm especially pleased that using this brand & variation 'Creamy Ranch' with light mayo, yogurt & buttermilk produced a dressing that didn't get runny as buttermilk ones tend to. The flavor was excellent & mild - which I prefer. I'd never heard of the Uncle Dan brand before. Glad I tried it! Also pleased the cost was more affordable than the sharp increase in Hidden Valley packets.

Yum!!
This is very good ! Uncle Dan’s makes the very best dressings. I’ve ordered many times. I dearly love the blue cheese. The rest of my family prefer ranch. And this brand is their very favorite. I’d recommend both to anyone.

Oh My Goodness!!!!!!!!!You talk about Dip........let me tell you, I've never tasted a dip that I truly liked until now. Uncle Dan's Dip would make a person put on the pounds if you're not careful. It's so good it makes you wanna eat the whole bowl, even if there is nothing to dip with.I used the entire pack and made it with sourcream and with mayo...........it was for a Bridal Shower. Came out perfectly.........light, creamy, great flavor.

So good
Best Ranch dip/dressing ever. We have tried many others. This product must be made with mayo not miracle whip. Best to make as a dip and if you want dressing, just spoon some out and add a tip of milk at a time until you get the consistency you want. A bit pricey but worth every penny.
