Cole HaanMen's Pinch Penny Slip-On Loafer

The shoes delivered were not as represented.The sole was entirely shiny rubber, and not a muted rubber and leather, and the shoes looked like shiny patent leather or plastic. I have my doubts that these were actually Cole Haan.Very disappointed in Amazon which has always been great.I shop with Amazon because of its integrity, selection and value. Part of the value is time savings.The return process was as simple and easy as it could be, but involves a trip to the post office and I am concerned now, when I purchase from Amazon, that a return may be required as the product may not be as represented in the photograph and text.This return adds time to the process.

I have been wearing Cole Haan Pinch dress loafers for years. In the past I never had a problem with a single pair of their shoes. Until now. This purchase involves two separate pairs of identical Cole Haan loafers. The first pair developed a loud click in the left shoe only after 3 or 4 wearings. Sent them back to Amazon for a replacement pair. The second pair after probably 12-14 wearings have developed a less audible click in BOTH heels when walking. Nothing better than walking around an office clicking as you go! It is disruptive & distracting. Ridiculous. First time I purchased this brand shoe from Amazon. Maybe the inventory they purchase is somehow inferior to other production runs? Will be the last pair of Cole Haan shoes I purchase from Amazon.

The day I purchased these shoes I slipped them on and the right heel made a clicking sound every step I took. I figured the shoes just need to be worn in and wore them in my carpeted office for several weeks. However, the clicking never ceased. I decided to take the shoes to a shoe repair store near my office and was told that there was something defective in the heel, but for $20 the heel could be removed and replaced. I thought that was a bit much , and decided to take the shoes to a local Cole Haan store. I was told that there was nothing they could do even though THEY made the shoes, and that I had no further recourse. I have been wearing their loafers for years but no longer - either stand by your product or you've lost me as a customer. My review - beware.

I love Cole Haan shoes, but these soles are very slick leather. If you walk on carpet you'll fall.. I don't even know what they would be like on a tile floor because I couldn't walk across the room. When I had these before they had a rubber strip on the bottom that would give it a no slip texture. I just can't believe the way these are that they let them go to the consumer. Be careful. Be very careful!

Holes in soles after only 2 months? Cole Haan used to make their loafers here in the USA and they were quite good. Very comfortable and durable. Several years ago, they shifted manufacture to Mexico. There was a slight deterioration in quality, but they were still comfortable and durable. The Pinch Penny Loafer, a style that I have worn for over a decade, are now made in India and have reached a point where the quality and durability is unacceptable. I purchased my last pair here on Amazon in June. After 2 months, the sole has completely worn through, suggesting a very poor quality leather used. I expect better than this from a company that has been in business as long as Cole Haan. They used to make a great shoe company, they have literally sold their "soles" and now produce a grossly inferior shoe. Sad.

Cole Haan shoes are a mere pretender for the shoes made before the company changed hands several years ago. I remember when I bought Cole Haan shoes for their quality and comfort. I bought these because they were cheap and I was not expecting much. I bought them for kick around shoes and they are good for that but not much else.

I bought these and compared them to the shoes that I bought at the Cole Haan store. I’m pretty sure they were counterfeit. The leather had drip lines in the die, the soles were rubber, not leather, and the size and other information that was printed in the inside of every other pair of these shoes I have owned was not present. Price seemed to good to be true and I think it was.

These shoes arrived and they are not even close to the color shown in the photo. They are a milk chocolate brown color not a taupe-ish brown as pictured. They are not a casual leather but much more glossy. Dressier looking than the photo. Was expecting something to wear with jeans, not a suit. Disappointed but am keeping them in spite of the difference because of the quality for the money.

Very poor quality and obviously a factory second.1. There is a very visible pale strip about 1 cm wide on the toe tip of both shoes.2. A white 'dot' on the tongue of. one shoe that is quite visible.3. The leather on the posterior and rear starboard on one shoe is very wrinkled and obviously detective.Why sell a shoe that is obviously going to be returned????

Bought it last week for Office Work.Wore them once and went to grab a coffee next door, came back and noticed the soul is all scratched up like somebody wore them for trekking.Don’t know the one i bought had this problem and it’s just common with the shoe type.

El producto llegó en el tiempo prometido.Los zapatos llegaron en la caja original de Cole Haan y bien empacados.La talla estuvo perfecta sin embargo el color "burgundy" que pedí no fue exactamente el que llegó ya que son prácticamente negros en lugar de burgundy.El interior de los zapatos no está tan cómodo como otros Cole Haan que he comprado en tiendas.

The photo and the text was exactly what it said it would be. HOwever I was loking for a slightly different Cole Hann pinch penny and it impossible to tell in your ad if I had ordered the one i was lookig for. While it is not - I don't know what either of us could do about it - as I was relyong on the text and photo etc. The shoes are fine.
