I'm wondering if all these bad reviews are just a matter of batteries? I bought this for my daughter on a warehouse deal for only $8 and I figured it wouldn't matter if she did nothing. When we opened her she did nothing. We turned her on and she did nothing. So we changed the batteries in all three places, (both feet and the bow that clips onto the child) and she works perfectly. She dances on her own and responds to my daughters dancing. It might not be the problem in every case but it definitely was in ours. My two year old loves to dance and she adores this doll. Has been dancing with her for almost 2 hours. Great purchase.

I bought this doll for my three year old grand daughter. She loved it. I had also bought her a singing microphone. She became quiet the entertainer dancing and singing with her doll. The doll was a little smaller than expected but it worked just the way it was described. She didn't work as well on carpet (kept falling over) but did good on wood or solid floors. We all enjoyed watching Allie dance, sing and play with her. I would recommend it for any child who enjoys interaction toys. I do think the price could be a little lower.

My 4-,3-, and 1-year-old all enjoy playing with it, but the bow that was supposed to allow the doll to mimic their dance moves came broken. Without it, they can only press her foot and twirl the bow on her head to make her dance. Right now it's enough to keep them entertained, but it's disappointing to open a present on Christmas morning to find out it doesn't work. We will likely have to return it and hope that the replacement bow works. Judging from the number of other reviews who've complained of non-functioning bows, I'm worried the next one won't work either.EDIT: There is no volume control on this thing and it's also one of those annoying toys that starts talking and asking you to come back and play with it if you haven't touched it in a few minutes. Parents be warned! My kids still love it, but it's definitely near the bottom of the list of mom and dad's favorite toys.EDIT #2: Dropping it down a star because it broke on the third day after we bought it. It will move, but the sound no longer works. It fell off of the coffee table onto carpet a couple of times, but if that's all it takes to thoroughly break a toy, it's not sturdy enough!EDIT #3: The replacement doll came today and the bow seemed to work if you were right next to the doll, but then the doll broke! It will move a bit but no sound will play. I am beyond frustrated and think this doll deserves only one star. It is ridiculous to charge $60 for a toy that breaks within minutes.

I'm really disappointed because my almost 2 year old daughter loved this toy but the bow does that clips to her does not work at all. I was hoping to use this toy for dance time with our small daycare. I'm unable to send back because we threw all of the packaging away when we unwrapped it for Christmas.Edited review:I contacted amazon and issued a full refund and told us to keep the toy. They also offered a 10% discount if I chose to re-order the toy. This is why I love purchasing things from Amazon. They give 110% when it comes to taking care of their customers.

Where to start? So, first, it is very cute. The music is a bit loud but not overly so. What is absolute garbage is the bow the kid wears. First, the screw for the battery compartment was stripped from the get-go. So it took an age to get the screw out so I could stick a battery in it. Now, of course, the screw won't go back in. This is annoying because the bow clip doesn't really clip tightly so it gets dropped. And because the battery hatch isn't screwed on, the battery flies out. My kiddo loves dancing with it so it isn't a terrible toy, just frustrating because of the bow.Also, the doll comes screwed to the bottom of the packaging. FYI.

The bow clip doesn't stay on and doesn't work. My niece got frustrated within 5 minutes, and it looks like a toy that's going to be in the closet. Boo.

She's adorable, the kids love her and she's so polite when she falls over and asks to be picked back up. She definitely moves all over the place so be careful of her falling off of things!

Love this doll and so does my daughter. Its nice and pretty and a lot of fun with the dancing.Came in a nice box. Shipping and all went well
