Had my first opportunity to use this new Comp-Tac holster yesterday at the shooting range. 7 hours of hard use on pistol drills and shooting steel targets really put it through its paces. It came through like a champ. It fit wonderfully my new SIG P320 X-Five pistol and with the drop-down attachment in place was very comfortable to draw from with this large frame firearm. The only thing I wish for the next generation of this holster is that the back side were just a little lower to allow a shooter to push in the mag release button with the gun holstered.If you have an X-Five and are looking for a great holster, this is the one. This holster is exactly what was needed. The 2 screws allow you to adjust the retention, which means if you want it loose so you can draw faster for competition, you can. You can also tighten it, so that if someone else tried to remove it from your holster, they wouldn't be able to without being at the perfect angle. Bottom line, it holds up to wear and tear, securely holds the firearm, and allows you to carry your pistol with peace of mind. This also worked on my staccato xl and staccato xc. It will not work on 2011's with tricut slides, though.

Not a good fit for Sig X5 Legion. Started wearing the finish off the slide immediately. Adjusted tension and the only way to get it loose enough for the slide, it would not retain the pistol. There is only one tab for the trigger guard, should be two, one on each side.

This holster absolutely did not fit my X5 Legion, no matter how much I loosened it. I even took the screws all the way out, and it doesn’t even look like it’s made for my gun at all. I am very disappointed.EDIT:It was the wrong holster. The packaging stated it was for full size P320s, my X5 Legion included. However, inside the sealed packaging was a holster for a Glock 19 Gen 5. That was a big issue for me because I needed a holster on a certain day. I originally rated it as 1 star because of that. The P320 holster deserves at least 4.5 stars, but that mishap cannot be forgotten. Let this be a reminder to them so they can work on their quality control.As for the fit, it’s great. It is not too tight for X5 Legion, like I’ve seen other people comment. Actually, it wasn’t tight enough, so I adjusted it to my liking. It had plenty of give left in either direction to tighten or loosen as I please. The holes that are drilled specifically for the threaded inserts are too tight, but that’s better than too loose. It only scuffs my X5 Legion for now, which can be wiped off. If it does end up scratching or wearing out the finish, who cares? It’s a g-u-n, not a valuable artifact - let it earn its battle scares. It’s overall a great holster, and I so recommend it.

I've been looking for a new competition holster that wouldn't break the bank. I'd heard of Comp-Tac and seen their banners at various competitions, but I'd never come across one of their holsters until I found it right here on Amazon. Mine arrived today. First thing I did was open the box and give the holster a thorough look over. the fit and finish are impressive and the materials seem to be really good quality. Next, I went to the safe and took out my pistol and put it into the holster. It was the most perfect fit, right out of the box I've ever experienced. The retention is perfect and the draw is too. Most importantly, for me, the holster was very well designed for safety. No part of the trigger or mag release is exposed at all. I am absolutely impressed, and they even included a total of 3 different mounting options with the holster. I can't wait to get out to my club and do some training with this rig. Absolutely recommended and I would say this is a must try for any competitor looking for a top notch "race" rig, without breaking the bank. thanks for the great and fast shipping Amazon.

It was hard to find a belt holster to fit the Staccato P model. This one works quite well and I am happy with it.

I have the CZ SP01 Tactical with the suppressor sights and threaded barrel. Anyone who has this model knows how difficult it is to find a holster for it. The fit is PERFECT, and the holster is VERY high quality. It's worth the price! There is a retention screw just underneath the bottom of where the frame goes... you will need to take out this screw to remove a plastic spacer first. The spacer makes it too tight for the gun to fit, due to the bottom rail on the pustol. You can put the screw back in once you remove the spacer insert... and you should do so- because that screw is for adjusting the retention. I HIGHLY recommend this holster for use on the range, and for outdoor activities like hiking. I do not recommend it for duty wear, or regular OWB open carry.. since there is no secondary retention feature to prevent your firearm from being taken from you from behind by some psycho. I'll be using it at the range.

I own a Smith & Wesson M&P Precision Center 9 with a 5" threaded barrel, suppressor height sights, and a Vortex red dot. The 5" version fits perfectly! Since my version has suppressor sights, many holsters don't work, but this holster is literally set up for everything! My father has many holsters for his various pistols and much prefers this.
