And now I can see
I have been using reading glasses for a few years now (unfortunately). I am pretty hard on reading glasses as I don't use them all the time, I don't need them all the time so I am often throwing them down in my car console or on my desk. They sit on my work bench and get knocked off, BUT I get so frustrated when I put them on and they are scratched or smudged. Honestly, sometimes I grab them and start cleaning them with my shirt - well, the bad part of that is my shirt might have brass shavings on it, might have leather pieces, might have wood chips, might have mud or who knows what else.I tell the story so you can envision reality of how I use these and my next statement will be much more impactful.I have not scratched a pair of these glasses yet. I sometimes clean them with Alcohol prep pads, I clean with with Dawn Dish Detergent or whatever else might be next to the sink. I haven't seen a scratch yet. AMAZING!Now, they do seem to attract oils and grease from cooking very easy, but that might just be glasses in general.Either way, these glasses are very light weight and the optics seem very clear for reading glasses and not professionally made glasses. One thing I have noticed and it might just be my eyes, if you aren't looking directly through the glasses, the objects seem a little blurred. For example, while wearing them, if I slight shift my eyes (without moving my head) the object on either side of directly looking out seems blurred. Just a little, but enough that it is distracting while working on computers.OH, speaking of computers, these are NOT blue blocking or anything fancy like that.

Excellently made, comfortable readers
I was looking for a set of decent readers, as many of my previous ones have been lost/broken/scratched/destroyed and weren't quite as strong as I now need. I didn't want to spend too much, and stumbled on these. They arrived very nicely boxed, and while they don't have individual cases that probably helped keep the cost as low as it is. I'm amazed at how good they look and how comfortable they are - spring hinges and very light weight despite having all metal frames. I don't know how scratch resistant they'll be over time (hence the 4 star rating), but there was no indication that the lens surfaces will scratch too easily given that a few early wipes with my t-shirt (I know...I should have used the cleaning cloth provided!) left no telltale sign while I was trying out the first pair. Bottom line is that I couldn't be more pleased with these readers.

Nice set of glasses for the price.
For about 10-bucks and metal frames I have no complaints with these out of the box… and it was a nice little box they were in so arriving in a larger box with a power saw was no problem. I’m about 6’3” and wear a size 7-1/2 hat and these fit fine. A few years ago, back in my 60’s, I wore a pair of reading glasses on a beaded chain because I was having trouble with the small print and then my sight seemed to improve and I didn’t need them anymore. Fast forward a few years and along came Glaucoma and cataracts so the fix for the cataracts required a lens by inserted in the eye and my choice was distant or close so I chose distant because we live on the high desert and seeing what’s up the road is more important than reading the ingredients in some food, I chose not to go the dangling glasses routine again because I was prone to catching them on things while working on the property so I’m stashing a pair wherever I may need one… like the garage, vehicles, shop and in front of my computer. This was a good purchase at the price I paid and they’re not much different than those I used to get at the dollar store but it didn’t require a 40-mile drive to find they’re likely no longer a buck each but now that I like them I see the price is over 12-bucks so I’ll keep looking or wait for a price drop.

Close to prescription glasses
I'm always losing, misplacing or breaking my readers. I found these looking one more time for replacements. Price looked good and reviews were high, so I purchased them. They shipped in attractive packaging resembling packaging for prescription glasses I have purchased. Metal is sturdy but not too thick. After 3 months no scratches. Only negative is the force it takes to adjust the posts at the ears (but then maybe that's why I have not yet broken one).

Quality seems great.
Quality seems great. I can see thru walls now. Packaged well. Don't know about the scratch resistance yet, just got them.

Resilient Glasses
I don’t put these anywhere to get scratched, but they are lightweight and comfortable. Plastic legs have broken at the hinge twice.

Very good quality.
This is the only product that hasn't fallen apart yet. They even clip on my shirt pocket without falling off when bending over. I just wish I could get different strengths in one pack instead of all being the same. So I'm ordering a different strength today.
