It looks nice, it holds thistle seed. Too bad I didn't order a shipment of birds so they can use it.

The only thing I did like was your new box.i am 84 years old and not as strong as i used to be. It took me forever to open the box . I have had my finch feeder out two days and birds don’t seem to be interested. They feed at the feeder that is a foot from this new one. Feeder is beautiful and hope small birds will start using it.

Easy to fill and birds love it. If the bottom was easily removed, it would be perfect. I can't unscrew the bottom and so seeds get trapped and sprout. If I can't adequately clean the feeder then I need to replace. Update: with the right tools and elbow grease, was able to remove the bottom. Got the feeder thoroughly cleaned. Wasn't easy to get apart and I do have a little rust.

It’s easy to fill and the birds prefer it over our other feeder. I haven’t tried to clean it but it only seems to need it on the cover where one sits while waiting a turn.

Great feeder for price. Arrived next day. Love that it ships without a bunch of packaging - I hope many other retailers start doing this!

This bird feeder is very attractive with the copper accents. As one reviewer mentioned, it took a couple of days for the finches to figure it out. Also, I’m using a finer grain bird food so easier for birds to access. They love it! Food is half eaten in less than a week-glad I ordered a few of them. Have a resident squirrel who has made multiple attempts to access feeder-ALL unsuccessful. I hung feeder with an S hook that’s approximately 10” long, and that helped. It’s too small for dove and larger birds, but not interested in feeding them.It Not sure how well it will hold up, but so far, best finch feeder I’ve had!

My old thistle feeder finally wore out after many years. When I got this new one I saw the chickadees and finches would come and land and peck at the feed holes then look up and all around the feeder then fly away. Other of these birds would come and the same thing was repeated. The seed level never went down and I realized the birds were not getting the thistle out of the feeder because the seed slots were too narrow and not tall enough.I used a utility knife to cut the slots bigger and now the birds are all over it. But why should I have to do that? Poor design.Also the metal top and bottom of the feeder are NOT Copper, just copper colored. The top is already rusting.A piece of cheap junk all around.

Although it is easy to clean, sturdy and a good value for the money, the birds were unable to feed from it because the holes are too small. This is a thistle seed feeder and while the seeds are very thin, the beaks of the finches are not. We had to enlarge the holes, which made an immediate difference.

My last feeder was plastic and the chipmunks destroyed it by chewing on the perches when they tried to get the seed out. Saw this on Amazon and gave it a try - so glad I did. Very sturdy, looks great and the finches came to it right away. And the chipmunks can't destroy this as the perches are metal and there are only small openings for the birds to get the seed from. Very happy with this one!

These are made with light tin top and bottom so any breeze swings them enough that the finch’s won’t land.They were replacement for ones made by Pinebush which had the clear plastic cracking.Not recommended for windy area.

Love this feeder. We were having problems with a feeder we’d had for years - Niger seed spilling and growing. Tried a couple which claimed to be no spill - one was and one wasn’t but they were both yellow. Discovered that goldfinches don’t like yellow and they stopped coming. This feeder is fantastic in every way and they’re back now.

I received this feeder as a gift. It’s one of my favourite garden pieces. I have it on a tall metal post (from a garden centre) right outside my front window. The birds come to eat all year round. Totally worth it. The one small comment I would make it that it’s not the easiest to clean and the seeds at the very bottom of the feeder can’t be reached by the birds. They tend to clump up after time. You have to take it all apart to clean it. But terrible though. Buy lots of seeds too because the birds love them. I have just bought one as a gift for a friend and plan to buy another one for my backyard.

The media could not be loaded.  Well made and though I had doubts about the birds finding the very small holes in the feeder It works absolutely perfectly
