EcoTech 43119132: Aqua Illumination Prime Fuge Led Light Fixture, Blk

Great fuge light, obviously a pricy option. Very bright, easily adjust a schedule. Grows macro and algea like crazy, kick started a fuge in my 120g reef and this stuff has grown my cheato and algea build up reducing my nutrients massively like I wanted!

Works just as good as the other AI lights I have up top. My chaeto growth doubled under these lights

This light stopped working after 3 months. I tried to RMA/contact AI about it but they do not respond. I eventually decided to open up the light and have a look. The contact leads on all of the circuit were completely corroded along with the heat sinks as well as rust. $250 for a light that can't handle the environment which it was made for. This is my third AI light and I typically like them but this one really makes me think their lights are not sealed well - maybe I just got a bunk item, it's too bad AI doesn't respond. Really disappointed with Aqua Illumination and my decision to purchase this refugium light from them.

Great product, easy to use in app. Lots of settings

I want to say everything I love about this light, but I’m dedicated to writing a bad review solely because they don’t give you a mount when you buy it. The mount which is sold separately is also way overpriced.

It’s a great light unless you clamp it. Clamp is weak and light slipped into aquarium refugium.

Second unit I have had fail. First unit AI replaced due to faulty fan causing the unit to overheat but the second unit did basically the same thing. Lasted about a year before it stopped working. Would expect longer life for the price of the unit.
