I bought this water filtration cartridge to Fabricate my own water filtration system. We live in a rural area with only sulphur water that comes from a well at about 60ft down. It is my presumption that I'll be able to utilize evaporation to allow the sulphur to gas off through the evaporation process, leaving potable water that will be run through my water drop filters and then pumped into my house....It is my premis that I'll be able to produce clean drinkable water at a fraction of the cost that many water purification systems now cost. Not to mention the hassle of buying 5 gallon water bottles to maintain our fresh water supply at home. I'm sure that I'll be able to maintain this homemade system for a comparatively low out of pocket expense...

simple to install and great filtration of water

Used this brand for the first time this season. No issues with it at all. Easily installed to the water and the regulator. Water clear, no smell and we have cooked with it. We never drink water from campgrounds when we camp but if we had to I’d feel ok about it.

Easy to install and keeps the slime and algae out of the camper water system.

This is a good, compact unit, for filtering the water going into my RV. Good quality and value.

Although I never received the product as Amazon cancelled the order, I have used these in the past on my RV and they do work great. This is a great price too.

Unfortunately the plastic threading at the hose inlet is cast too large. It did not matter which of several hoses I tried or what different type of washer was used, it leaked badly. Tried flat rubber and silicone washers and urethane O-rings, nothing stopped it from spraying water whenever there was back pressure. Only suitable for flap type tank fillers. Any hook up to a plumbed system to fill an internal holding tank or for city water supply sprayed water everywhere. Not usable for me.
