I'm not Chinese, but previously taught Chinese cooking at a community College, and I wrote a small Chinese cookbook many years ago. I've had many different Chinese teacups over the years, and these are possibly the best-designed! They are delicately made, but made of very strong porcelain. The best part is the slight outward rim at the top - this makes it easy to hold while filled with hot tea - which is a little difficult with most teacups. If you need teacups to go with Chinese meals, these are perfect!!(Also, the packing was impressive)

I like these cups because they’re not the ultra-tiny ones you might see elsewhere, and they have an attractive design.There is an imperfection in one of them that is hard to notice. It’s like a chip in the rim, but it’s not sharp. It’s finished, as if it were made with a little piece missing.

Tea

One came with a chipped rim and cracks and bubbles in the glaze and clay. The second had a hole through one of the rice grain windows as well as bubbles and cracks in the glaze and clay. The third seemed like it was okay until I looked closer and saw that they missed glazing the whole rim of the cup. The only blue part that appears to be truly painted on is the ring near the rim, as it is inconsistent and smeared on one of the cups, the floral lotus looking patterns all appear to be machine printed according to the fine dot matrix of pigment that comprises them, then the applique is applied "by hand". I returned the first three for a replacement but Amazon marked the replacement as undeliverable. I will wait for a refund before trying again, these may have been a decent value when they were selling for less $, if you're lucky enough to get a good set, but now that the price is climbing I'm pretty sure there are better cups for the $.

My order arrived in tact, the color is as shown in picture and the size of the cup is as I expected it to be. No complaints
