Most of the time the stuff sold on here is all junk. I’ve bought other painting equipment and it all feels cheap. This is real wood, easy to put together, sturdy, ergonomic, flexible to work with, and they give you a freaking full blown screwdriver! So if you think the product is crap at least you got a screwdriver lol. Only thing I’d warn about is its weight. Because it’s well made and real wood, it’s very heavy. If you’re not strong enough to pick up a stack of 2-3 table chairs then you’ll need help. It’s also a total pain to return I am sure so keep that in mind. If you buy it, there’s a strong likely hood you won’t bother to return it.

As an artist who has not done any artwork for a few years, just now dabbling in my oil paints again, this is the easel that dreams are made of. It's very heavy, versatile with multiple height adjustments, so you can stand or sit while working at this easel. The way this easel support work, you don't have to relegate yourself to paints only, but can put a large sketchpad in instead of canvas. You can also easily convert it to flat for other types of art, I was able to easily convert it to flat surface (mainly for a thorough review), but I'm unlikely to every use it that way. I appreciated that it was partially assembed when it arrived. The only parts you have to really assemble is the screws on the hinged parts (back support), putting the base together, attaching the easel to the base (this part is where you can use an extra set of hands to hold the easel upright while you attach the base). I love that this has a small footprint, so you don't have to fold it if you don't want to, but you can fold and store flat or standing. I am so pleased with the heavy, beaufiul quality fo this easel and imagine that I'll enjoy doing paintings and other types of art using it. It's very solid and will last for years to come.

I would give this a five, except for one thing. Six of the pre-drilled screw holes were misaligned. I had to use my drill and a fine drill bit to position the supports correct...and two of the screw holes were nearly on top of the bolts on either side. Other than that, this is a nice, heavy duty easel. I like the second support holder, as I can use it to hold my MS Suface for my reference photo. Looking forward to starting my first painting on it tomorrow.

Sturdy, easy enough assembly, directions were meh. Looks stunning and seems to be functional. Bundles with the stool. The bolt to nut system is hinkie, would recommend a decent sized flathead when assembling and a drill. Love it

The assembly wasn’t difficult as it was to tighten this pieces to stay in place and hold the canvas level also. I’ve also had issues with the brackets, coming off or slipping while I was painting. It seemed like a good easel at first, but after a year of using it, it has completely come apart. I also purchased an art cart from Eden for close to $300 and that card has come loose at the joints and is falling apart also. I intend to throw out both pieces and purchase replacements that are not from the Meeden brand.

This easel was a great purchase. I assembled myself( 76 yrs old) with no problems. Great quality wood for the price. Love the color and versatility of the various positions saving my back. I have already used it to paint on a 30x40 canvas and smaller sized palette for pastel painting. I had no issues. I have already recommended to some of my artist friends.

This was a treat to myself!! The box was heavy(wood is good quality). Instructions were easy to follow. Before you knew it I had put it together. Have used it at an angle to draw or set it flat to paint. You can adjust its height easily. I was able to put a board on which I had mounted the watercolor paper. Very stable. Really love it!

Beautiful and versatile easel I’ve had it for about 4 months now. My partner and I found it easy enough to build together this is preferential as one had to hold parts upright whilst the other screw the base in. It is fantastic for storing two or three works in progress and it is adjustable to add large canvas’s on. The 180 degree tilt is perfect for when you need to lie it flat and it fits into spaces really nicely I have it against the wall when working my day job and then when wanting to paint I can pull it out if needed with ease or leave it against the wall. And living in a third floor flat with very little space is something to take note as I use the back of my living room as a mini art studio and work area. The wood is a beautiful high quality and is very robust one of my fave highlights is the wooden grooves on the holder which can hold wooden panels firmly in place. It is prudent to be careful when leaning on their work as the tilt will start to move as it is not held in place but this can easily be remedied with some clamps. Overall a great easel for all levels of artists.

Sztaluga sama w sobie prezentuje sie wyśmienicie. Te ciemne drewno zachwycało. Ale sama juz jej konstrukcja jest dla mnie nie funkcjonalna. Nie jest szeroka na tyle by utrzymać obraz w formie poziomej w formacie 100/70. ( płótno tak, tekturę nie) Nie można dać jej wyżej niż na około 10 cm? Coś koło tego. Można tylko zmienić jej poziom nachylenia oraz że z pionowej zmienia sie w poziomą jak stół. Naprawdę sądziłam że to jest sztaluga dla mnie ale muszę ją zwrócić. Pozdrawiam.

Pazartesi gecesi verdiğim Almanya’dan gönderilen sipariş, perşembe günü elimdeydi, çok hızlı ve çok iyi paketlenmiş geldi. Hiç bir hasar yoktu. Çok kullanışlı bir şövale, masa olabilmesi büyük artı. İçinden kurulum çizelgesi çıkıyor, kolay kuruldu. Oldukça sağlam. Tavsiye ederim.
