The pads are too small for your hand. Need to be 2-3 inches deeper to grasp items without having your hand exposed.

If I had felt these prior to purchasing, I would not have bought them. They are so thin that I need to use two!

i like the size and weight

I liked the potholders well enough though they were thinner than I expected. I have several sets because I usually use two for each hand removing things from the oven. I don’t like extremely thick gloves (ie silicone) so these gloves are a good alternative for me.

I is a exciting because I like something smaller that I can handle.

I've purchased hot pads like this before and they work great. It's hard to find good hot pads but these work for me!

It has been difficult to find plain ordinary pot holders. There are lots of oven mitts and double-sided glove type pot holders and silicon pot holders. These ones that I got are just plain cotton pot holders made of nice thick padded fabric, and they look well made. They have a generous "pocket" on the back to slip your hand in (it's not padded of course). I just got them, so haven't washed them yet, but to this point they are exactly what I have been looking for!!!
