Best 2 knife combo
Went for this off a recommendation. I have to say out of the box it’s sharp enough to rough out and detail pine. After an hour of whittling a few passes on the leather it was back and ready for the next project. So I’d say it’s a nice balance of hardness for general use. I heard complaints about how stiff the spring is to hold the knives. With any sort of manliness, it’s not a problem. Comfortable in hand. Lite in the pocket. The inlay is a nice touch as a talking point. Over all a good value for the money. I will be recommending it to friends and enemies.

Scary sharp. Very tight action.
This is my first whittling knife and I had high expectations based off the reviews.Pros: scary sharp. Easily fits in hand. Looks great.Cons: action on both blades is incredibly stiff. No locking mechanism.I would buy another one.

Great Whittle Knife (Use Caution)
A wonderful knife. Holds a great edge. I made several carvings with it.Word of caution! This is NOT a locking blade.I ended up going to the hospital to get my middle finger stitched up because the blade snapped shut while I was carving. My fault for pushing too hard.Safety cut-resistant gloves on both hands is highly recommended! This knife is great for hiking and leisurely whittling. If you're into doing carvings from blocks, go with a fixed blade option.

I love this knife
I absolutely love this. I take it camping with me and enjoy carving next to the campfire. They are extremely sharp and hold their edge.

Great little knife
Great knife to just sit and whittle some wood to relax and create something unique. Great construction and sharp blades makes this a great knife to start whittling.

Wicked sharp
More of a razor than a knife. Goes through basswood like a hot knife through butter. Now all I have to do is to learn how to whittle

Super sharp
Great knife. It's stiff to open, but that just makes it safer; it won't close on you unintentionally. I use the smaller of the knives for all sorts of stick carving - from walking sticks to whittling sticks. After about 9 months of whittling with this knife I still stand by my initial review. It's a great knife. It keeps a sharp edge with only stropping. The blade continues to be stiff when opening/closing. It's a handy little knife that fits nicely in my pocket and is an everyday carrier. Ived used it to whittle/carve walking sticks, Christmas ornaments, wood spirits, etc. I'd definitely buy another whenever this one gets lost or stollen.
