Four Stars
I love Eyewitness Travel books. Slightly pricey. Would suggest using online and another travel book too.

Great Info!
Very detailed and informative about everything you could ever want to check out in Puerto Rico. There’s more things to see in Puerto Rico than you’d probably even have time to see even if you were there for a month.

Kindle version os only ok
I bought the Kindle version, but the navigation is clunky, all the pictures are b/w (of course), and the maps aren't very readable. It was okay for getting an initial impression of PR, not not real useable when driving around the island. I've used DK guides in the past (for Vienna, Rome, and Paris) and liked them (the print versions).

I love this series of DK travel guide books
I love this series of DK travel guide books.... always have. There are maps in the text and a separate plastic covered map which can be used independently of the guide. There are lists of best beaches, places to eat, places to go, etc. Information on outdoor activities, museums, hotels, bars and restaurants, hiking trails, etc. Can't wait for my trip!

I have come to rely on Eyewitness guides every time ...
I have come to rely on Eyewitness guides every time I go on a trip. They are colorful, keep your attention, and very often mention special, little-known places of interest that would be worth a stop. Helps very much with planning, looking forward to my trip.

OK content, horrible eBook
I've been a fan of DK Eyewitness Travel Guides for two decades. The printed versions are fantastic: dense, colorful, instructive, and quite accurate. But this eBook was simply painful to use. Navigating between pages, sections, the table of contents, and the index was really confusing. Unlike most Eyewitness guides, there were no price or quality ratings. And the coverage of the island was very inconsistent. We spent 3 nights in Old San Juan, then drove around the island counter-clockwise and spent three nights in Ponce. We did manage to find the highlights of both cities -- plus a stop at Arecibo in between. But the number of restaurants and hotels reviewed was very limited, and the reviews themselves were threadbare.Perhaps the relative poverty ($16K per capita GDP) and modest size (not quite three times the size of Rhode Island and less than 4M residents) doesn't warrant sufficient investment by DK to produce a better guide book?

The map of the island is worth the book
While this book is a few years old, the map is worth the price. Great quality item
