Excellent value
Used so far to climb oak trees four times for limbing and felling. I do occasional tree work, not professionally. I use just the rope and saddle, no fancy ascenders or other such gear. I put a loose loop around my boot for upward thrust and a Blake's hitch on the tail of my saddle attachment point to ascend me. This rope works perfectly after a little break in period. It was tight and binding at first but worked in. It's not very stretchy but will hold a shock well. I don't use friction savers and the rope seems to be taking the abrasion well. Very easy to tie knots in. Not really 1/2", rather it's 13mm, a little thicker than 1/2", so some 1/2" gear may not work.

Ordered my Rope on Friday and received it on Saturday. Used it a bit this weekend and it works great. I will buy a couple more of these ropes soon. UPDATE: I have used this rope now for well over a year. It holds up to the toughest treatment. I have pulled down over 80 trees on my property by putting a Line into a tree and using my tractor to pull the tree down where I want it to go. I have stress tested it several times by lowering 3-400lb limbs out of trees with no problems. This 12 Strand rope is bulletproof. I have had ropes that were supposed to be comparable fail miserably under the same loads. Already ordered a 200 ft to replace another low quality rope.Had to laugh at the answer to the hammock question above. Of course it will.

Value for good product.
I cut and remove tree's for a living and use this rope because it has a good outer sheave as well as a good core. I will do drop and catch with a good portion of most tree's with a good ground man then switch to bull line. This rope works well and can take some abuse and is worth the money.

Great rope
Bought this as a replacement for my lifeline. I use a zig zag plus and it was hard to limb walk. Not very smooth. Had to jerk it to get it to slide. I switched this to a speedline and it has held up great. Sent a 900 lb top down it. We use the 3/4" for blocking trunks and the 1/2" works just as great.

Decent depending on your needs
The rope is pretty nice, but not suitable for using a mechanical ascender(like a Rope Runner Pro). After about 10 times going up and down the rope had squished so much that I could fall around 5 feet before the ascender would reliably grab the rope and stop me(not a free-fall, but still falling). I imagine over time it would squish so much that it wouldn't be able to hold me at all. This rope is about 12.5mm and the Rope Runner Pro has a rope range from 11-13mm.If you are climbing with a Prusik I imagine it would probably do fine as that type of knot applies even pressure around the whole rope. I would also use this line for rigging or even as a backup safety line. Just not suitable for a device like the Rope Runner. Not easy to make out but you can see in the picture that the rope gets squished into a rectangle.

Very nice
Used to secure myself on an asphalt roof was afraid it would fray but it held up very nicely, very supple too

Best rope I've ever used
I'm not a climber or rigger, but have worked with a lot of rope over the years, and as soon as I picked this stuff up I knew just by the look and feel of it that it was the best rope I've ever used. I used it for a zipline for kids, so I was pretty concerned with making sure it was dependable. It was and is.
