I purchased these for a trip where making s'mores was planned. I decided to purchase a quality set with the thought that they would get use past this trip. With that being said, I have only used them once, but they were worked perfectly. I searched through all of the marshmallow roasting sticks prior to deciding on this one and a couple of things made me go with these (besides the other positive reviews). One was the length. I have small kids and wasn't sure what the fire pit would be like so wanted to ensure that the sticks were long enough that the kids could roast safely without me completely hovering. However, while I wanted length, I loved that these collapsed to a shorter length for storage and portability. The other major selling point for me was the different color pieces included on each stick. While this was not a deal breaker, I thought it was cute and knew my kids would love picking out their own color - which they did. The handles themselves were easy for little hands to hold onto. The hotel we were at provided long wooden sticks for others and while they were plenty long, they definitely didn't seem as easy to manage. The storage bag was a nice bonus for the set. Once we were home I washed them and they returned to great condition. Overall, I think this is a great product and look forward to many more fun marshmallow roasting nights!

Very happy with this purchase! Having the forks "color coded" is super handy and even though they're light weight, they seem sturdy when fully expanded using with hotdogs. Easy clean-up and I appreciate the zippered storage pouch. Fast shipping as well. No complaints!

The kids loved them

The MalloMe Marshmallow Roasting Sticks are a great item to get if you're over burning your hands from too short skewers or don't like the idea of using a random stick you found on the ground. The sticks extend out further than any skewer I own and since they are metal, they are easily cleaned. While the kid liked the sticks, the handles do separate when being washed after multiple uses (you can glue them back on easily), and the prongs start turning black as well. The black doesn't wash off, so I'm pretty sure its the metal getting burned and not residual marshmallow. It does seem to be limited to the sticks that were put into the fire to "be sterilized by the heat", so let your kids know to keep it out of the embers. Overall the sticks are cheaply made and may not last more than a season, but are worth the price to keep those little hands from being burnt or stomachaches from eating off a questionable stick found in the woods.

As new homeowners, we built a fire pit. And with a fire pits comes....S'MORES! I had no idea that roasting sticks existing until I started looking for them. I remember being a kid and making s'mores with sticks which left me eating crunchy marshmallows. I came across these in my search to avoid using sticks again and these have been fantastic so far. The telescoping function is really great and it maintains its movement even after being left in the fire for probably a bit too long. The color coding on these is also a clever idea because it helps prevent accidental switching when there's a larger group of us at the fire. Our friends now love coming over to have s'mores and watch the stars. Washing these is very easy and the metal is very durable. They come with a case that helps keeps things a bit organized in the kitchen by keeping them together instead of floating around as individuals where eventually, one would get lost. Our friends are considering getting a fire pit built after all the fun we've had with these, and if they do, I know exactly the gift I will be bringing to their house to help christian their new fire pit. When I was shopping around for a s'mores tool, I'd have to say this one won because of the price and the color coding. I know everyone wants things to match, but when its dark outside around a fire, a little color difference goes a long way. I would definitely recommend these for anyone who likes to toast marshmallows by the fire.

These roasting sticks are the bomb! The telescoping extension action makes these roasting sticks far superior to anything else I've used, like extremely sharp skewers or sticks I have found on the ground. I felt like royalty using these during our last camping trip, and couldn't wait to show them to my fellow campers. While we only used these for marshmallows, they also would have worked fabulously on hot dogs, brats or any other kind of wiener for that matter. I'm sure others have gotten more creative with the things they have been able to roast with these magic sticks. They extended far enough to reach the fire pit while I lounged in my chair enjoying a cold one. And the perfectly round handle made for a perfectly even roast on my mallows. Even better, we had a bunch of toddlers running around camp, and although the skewers on the MalloMe sticks easily hold on to your marshmallow, they are not sharp so were safe for the kids to use. They also make pretty sweet swords. And they are colorful, so everyone can keep track of their sticks. The bonus??? The convenient carrying case to pack them out of camp in. All in all, best new camping item I've purchased in a while. If you are on the fence, buy them. They are great!

I am so excited to have these marshmallow skewers! They are a little bit thin, but they telescope easily and appear to be sturdy. The colored handle caps will make it easy for everyone to keep track of their own forks when setting them on the tray we use fireside. I have not used them at the fire yet, but can definitely tell already that I like the length and will be appreciative of not burning the back of my hand to get that perfect marshmallow. I bought the set of eight and wish I had gotten more for when there is company around the fire. I am excited to use them in the next day or two and will edit this if necessary. But so far, I am happy with the forks and the bag to keep them in. Thank you! Edit to add - these things are still great after two summers of use. They could be made a little more sturdy, but overall they work great if you take care of them.

I grew up hunting down my own marshmallow stick and carefully pointing it with my dad's pocket knife. Sometimes I found the perfect stick - evenly tapered, straight, long and strong. But mostly, they were curved and made for a few contortions to keep from burning one side of the marshmallow and cooking them evenly without setting them on fire. Another recent phenomenon is campsites that have been picked over, with no sticks left. We had a 12th birthday campout party for my son in September with 7 kids. Marshmallow roasting was going to be a central part of the evening's activities, and wanted to avoid the problem of no decent native sticks, so we picked up a set of MallowMe sticks before the trip I was a little concerned they wouldn't be strong enough, or stay extended. Looks like they're made from a good quality stainless steel auto radio antenna stock, with wood handles that don't get hot, and ended up being just what we needed! They're color coded so kids knew which one was theirs, were sturdy enough for 12 years olds to not destroy (even the one that a kid kept turning every marshmallow into a torch). After one hard use, the sticks are all still tight, the gauge of metal thick enough that they didn't droop. This was only one use, and will update my review if things change as they are used more. Our first impression was great!

These were very good for cooking over a propane pit. Nice extension of 32 inches. Great product

Really nice set of toasting forks. Like that they are extendable to keep the kids safely away from the fire pit/ barbecue. Good idea to have the different coloured bands on the handle so no arguments about whose is whose!!! Easy to clean but by hand. And a useful little zip bag to store them in . Not too expensive either. Would recommend.

Bought specially for a camping trip with friends. Some of whom got a bit drunk and a bit merry with the toasting forks! They made it through in one piece. Very sturdy things that can take a bit of abuse lol. They're stashed for the next time 😂

Really handy, nice extension, but metal in flames still burns, so don't put it straight in your mouth after holding it in the fire.

Overall, we love these roasting sticks! The length is good, the carry bag is awesome, they are easy to clean and we love the different colours. The sticks aren't as sturdy as I would like so cooking heavier items such as hot dogs or sausages is more difficult. I did expect this though, so it was no surprise, but still a pain point for me.
