The outside cloth pad is soft to the touch and covers four heating pads inside that are aligned side-by-side. This allows for a certain amount of flexibility as it folds easily into fourths in the gaps between these pads and the heating pads themselves are somewhat flexible, like bending a milk-jug-like plastic. I got this to heat my back, so I thought I would put it behind me, between my back and the chair back. The heat is a wonderful, deep heat that isn't too hot or too cool. (You can adjust the temperature to suit your taste.) Since it felt so relaxing, I couldn't understand why my muscles would be so knotted up and painful after using the heating pad for half an hour. I finally realized that there were connector boxes on each of the four heating pads inside the pad and that I was leaning against these hard, plastic boxes. This was creating the cramping, knotted muscles in those areas. Placed behind me, there was no way to avoid leaning against these boxes. This was not a problem if the pad was simply laying on my lap or across my stomach and no pressure occurred between the pad in my body. However, that didn't really help me out as I didn't want to spend half an hour lying on my stomach with the heating pad on. So I returned it. I like the idea, I like the heat, but those hard connectors made the product unusable for me.

Not the hottest heating pad I have owned.-a milder heat. With that said, the heating pad is nice and large and you cannot readily feel the heating elements like other pads which may throw more heat. As a result, I continue to use this heating pad for the larger area that it treats and because smaller heating elements equals more flexibility. You win some, you lose some. Overall, I continue to enjoy. With time, some of the heating elements have become more noticable but pad is still very flexible and can be rapped around like a blanket.August 2021-only part (about1/3) of heating padstill heats up..So many things are disposable quality today.

I do like the softness of this heating pad and it's super light! Very comfortable. My only complaint is that it really doesn't get hot at all. Just kinda warm. I know it's not meant to be hot. But if I were to compare it to my other two heating pads... I have to use this on the highest heat level. My other ones, to get the same heat (high on this one) is the lowest setting. So it just isn't warm or hot enough. But it's not a bad product. Just not warm enough for me.

I’m writing after only 2 days of use so I have no idea as to how long this thing will last. It has a thin insert where the heat is generated that is a bit stiff. So don’t expect it to wrap around your elbow like one of the microwave hot pads.But using it on my back is quite soothing. It doesn’t get very hot to touch but it seems to radiate heat to my back in a very effective way. I like it a lot.

I loved this heating pad-it doesn’t get too hot but penetrates more deeply due to the graphine. It also has a very soft cover, and I like the fact that it’s longer.I used it for just short of a year and it suddenly stopped working. I contacted the company not expecting much as it was almost a year ago and they probably sent me a new one as my warranty had not yet expired! Fantastic company that stands behind their products. Buy with confidence.

Soft and a decent size but doesn't get hot and I haven't seen/felt any actual infrared benefits whatsoever after a month of using it for 20 minutes daily on abdomen (slimming) and back (deep tissue relaxation)

Super comfortable and the material is really soft. I've always kept this on the red setting which is plenty warm. It's not the hottest but I also assume you don't it to be super hot for a long period of time. And more importantly, even when it switched off, it stays warm for at least 20-25 mins!

Heats up well and evenly. The outside case is very soft and removable, so you can easily wash it. The cord is two pieces that plug into each other, and is pretty long. Pad was bigger than I anticipated, but I actually like that it's a little larger.
