It didn't quite fit my bottle so I wrapped some Teflon tape on the inside a few times and it works great, no leaking.

I measured carefully before purchasing because I’ve been burned before when buying bottle caps. These were just enough too large to not fit the threading on my jug. Why is it so hard to find a screw-on lid for a five gallon jug?? I have some silicone lids that screw onto my smaller opening bottles that I love. Snap-on lids are a disaster because they can pop off before you get the bottle placed onto dispenser. The jug In question is one I purchased at walmart (so thought it would be somewhat ‘standard’) and have to pour the water with a funnel from it to another that I have a silicone lid that fits. I was hoping I could use this bottle as is but nooo. Guess I got burned again.

Didn't screw on correctly so couldn't be used.

I make them work just to keep the water from spilling everywhere when I my 5-gal bottle from a tap and install it. They don't twist on because they aren't quite the right size or they don't have the right threads. FWIW, I just grabbed my bottle off the shelf at Walmart. So they don't fit that bottle. But again, they work well enough for my need.

These do exactly what is needed. It’s a bit hard to get them onto the bottles but I’m fine with that since I know they won’t come off easily.

They didn't seem to "catch" or thread properly on the 53 mm bottle though it did fit on there perfectly. The bottle didnt leak with it on but once we put it in the dispenser it didn't fit properly so we had to push it in hard to dispense the water.So once the bottle was empty the cap was stuck inside the dispenser and it was QUITE hard to get it out. I wouldn't recommend but maybe it was just the type of screw top bottle that I had.

Simply put does not fit very well and it does help flip it on but incredibly loose and expensive for plastic, save yourself the money and just get a different water cooler. This cap can’t seem to screw on, I had to push the cap onto my bottle. Nevertheless, I can remove it and reuse it.

Yes the description does say 5.5 cm. My questions is that you show a picture of a water cooler with the 5 gallon water bottle, I think everyone would think that this cap would fit. Now the next question is how many people are going to measure the neck of their water bottle before purchasing this item (Human nature, no one, they're going to trust the picture shown). So to save everyone time from measuring the neck of the bottle, the bottle you have (the standard size) is more likely 5 cm, and these caps will not fit. Return for refund.

Los compre para el garrafon/botellon o como le digan XD el grande de agua x 20 L de vaissen y no le quedo.Es una boca mas grande que la de los botellones que hay en el mercado y pensé que le quedaria... Pero por cosa de 1 mm no le queda. Una pena. (PAIS MEXICO. Porque este es uno de los pocos paises que no se actualiza con el tema de la higiene en el agua en garrafón)
