Great value! Money well spent
Easy installation and great performance! Took the squat out of the truck, 4.5 inch before and 1.5 after instal. Trailer pulls fantastic now! Trailer weight 5985lbs empty. If you’re on the fence about this purchase, do it you won’t be sorry.

Bit tough to install but works great.
The only unpleasant surprise was that setting the ball angle (insures correct weight distribution) requires putting 260 ft-lbs of torque on 2 bolts and that requires a special torque wrench which was difficult to find. So I paid a local Camping World ~$300 to install this hitch and show me how to use it. That was money well spent. The written instructions that came with the hitch were pretty useless and their online videos weren't much better. I'm an Engineer and figured it out but my Torque wrench only goes up to 150 ft-lbs and I couldn't find one that could go to 260 locally. That and I figured it was worth having someone experienced with this hitch give me a lesson on it. It's more complicated than a standard hookup but not too bad, easy enough and worth the added stability while towing.

Fantastic system for weight distribution & sway control
I have 2001 Tahoe with Autoride and a 6000 lb camper trailer. I've towed it several times with a standard receiver, but the last two trips had some scary moments with trailer sway. I also had problems with the rear of the truck sitting too low. I bought this Camco system (along with a Curt 10.5" rise shank) and used it this past weekend for a trip. What a difference! Now I have to say on the weight distribution, one of the problems of the rear sitting too low was caused by bad autoride air shocks in the back, and once I replaced them with new ones the truck sat much more level with the camper hooked up to it. So, I couldn't see a difference with the level - except that with the new shank and ball mount that comes with the hitch system, it does naturally sit higher. However, the sway control was amazing, although it took some adjustment to get it right. I connected it and started the trip, but noticed I was still swaying, yet it didn't sway as much as previous trips. I adjusted it 1/4 turn per the instructions, but didn't notice a real difference. On the return trip it was a windy day and the trailer really started to sway, so I stopped and turned it another 1/4 turn. No change, and I started to wonder if I needed another sway control on the driver's side (which the instructions say might be necessary on tall or heavy trailers). Stopped again and turned it 1/2 turn, now it worked beautifully! I did not feel it sway anymore, even in strong winds and big trucks passing by. Only problem I had is that one of the sway control lock pins fell out, and all I had to replace it was a couple of tie-wraps, which worked! I'm going to get a few spare pins and keep them in the camper. I'm very glad I got the whole system, it is well built and does not feel cheap at all. It comes complete with the ball mount for the hitch and the ball mount for the sway control, already installed and torqued down. I had to purchase a taller shank but that's because my camper trailer frame is so high compared to my truck hitch. The shank that comes with it is a 5-1/4 rise and I needed at least 8". Also, you need a 1-1/8 wrench and/or socket to install the bolts for the hitch - thankfully I had a hitch ball wrench which did the trick.Amazon Prime again pulled through with 2-day shipping, gotta love their service!

Good equalizer hitch for the cost
I would have given the system a 5 but it did not come with the hanger brackets pictured that have a retainer clip on the top. I specifically wanted them but had to pay an additional hundred bucks to special order them. Too much hassle to return a partial order.Otherwise the system works as expected, distributes the weight, all but stops any sway and made my towing experience more relaxed.Quality is not over the top, but built well enough for what it is.Just remember to not over tighten sway bars and take them off when sharp turning, forward or backward.Yes, I would.....

Just awesome!! A real beast.
Built like a brick outhouse - heavy duty and heavyweight. Installed on GMC Sierra 1500 and 26' Sunset Trail trailer. Bumper measured 20" above level ground, and sagged to 13" with trailer attached and weight distribution not in place (see picture). Once the unit was full installed and adjusted the "sag" notes measured 19" - yup, only 1" drop. Install was easy, but note the drill size for installing the screws into the trailer rail ( for the sway control ) is not a common size found in most drill kits, and drilling the rail isn't quick and easy. Be sure to drill smaller pilot holes and work your way up. AND, the screws can easily be snapped if using an impactor to install. One other note - even if you're experienced with weight distributing hitches read the instruction for adjusting the chain tension. Having an electric tongue jack makes it easier as several trips up and down may be needed to get it right. Don't be shy about using the jack to lift the tow vehicle - this is the key step in getting it to work best.

Awesome hitch!
Was disappointed when it was delivered as the box was all but destroyed and I thought some parts might have fallen out, but to my surprise there was no damage and no missing parts. Installation is actually easy, but not if you try to read the directions. Once you install one, the 2nd would be simple! If you know someone that has one, have them walk you through it cause its way easier than whats in the directions. I have a 2011F250diesel and a 2017 Forest River XLR toy hauler and it works great with my set up. Had to run the hitch up pretty high with the "L" receiver block upside down. That kept the heavy tongue weight from dropping my truck (OEM suspension) more than 2". Played with the chains till I got the weight distribution bars parallel to the frame at 5 links. The anti sway bar takes some learnin' as well, just dont leave it at "full" "braking" on sharp turns as it will literally rip the ball base right off the trailer frame. I loosened the lower bolt from the "factory" setting so I can full lock the upper lever which appears to be correct. I also loosen the lever once I leave the highway and tighten it as we get ready to get on the highway. that way I can maximize the anti sway and it seems to work very well at highway speeds. Would definitely buy this set up again. Only thing that would make it better is a "shocker" hitch setup.

Nice solid hitch!
Happy with purchase. Good solid hitch.Easy setup. 2019 ram 1500. Thirty foot travel trailer. I haven't tried tweaking it yet. Just bought the trailer and I set it up quick before picking up the trailer. When I dropped it on the truck and trailer were almost perfectly level . I think I had just under an inch of sag. Put a little air in my spring bags and it leveled out nicely. Haven't hooked up the anti sway yet. I didn't have any issues towing it home. Not sure if I'll use it yet. Definitely Good hitch for the money .

Good equalizing hitch
Good hitch for the money, easy to install and use. Helped haul my 5500lb enclosed trailer up the canyon with my grand cherokee. When properly set up the suv only squatted .75"

Expect damaged packaging and everything is good.
Product looks good. Haven’t used it due to wrong season. Expect that the packaging will be damaged as it is boxed insufficiently for the weight of the product. Expecting that I am not disappointed. As long as everything functions properly it is amazing value for the money. Everything is included including the “shank” and “bolts” as long as they haven’t fallen out of the inevitably broken box.
