I used these to upgrade my COVID-19 mask. The mask was to be tied in the back at the top and bottom with a shoestring-style round nylon cord. I cut to the proper length, used a dab of Marine Goop glue inside, and jammed the nylon cord inside with a toothpick. Let it sit overnight, and it's perfect.The shaft is machined perfectly, which is a slight issue when you're trying to slide the pieces together behind your back. I used a tapered sanding bit on a Dremel Tool to sand out the inside shaft of the receiving end. The little taper lets the pieces slide together perfectly. Careful - metal gets hot when you sand it.I have the coolest mask in town, and it's easy and fun to put on and take off, thanks to the power and magic of MAGNETS!Sadly, no instruction manual, so I don't know how the magnets work. ;)

These seem well made and the magnets are a perfect strength, but there is no hole for your cord to go through! How on earth are you supposed to tie a necklace cord around or through these? These are not at all useful.

There is no hole so I’m not sure how to use.
