Another Great Book by Tom Reynolds!
another fantastic book by Tom Reynolds!! This is a great follow up to the Omni Trilogy that came out! It continues just where the other books left off. I love books that have a continuing story especially when the author does such a good job of getting you attached to the characters in the book. You end up going through their frustrations and joys! Tom Reynolds does a great job of that. This is great too for my teenager who was just as excited to read this as I was. He has read the book series twice and really enjoyed it. Yes there is teen drama in it, but it's a story about a teenager finding his way in life and figuring out how to handle the awesome responsibility that he has been given.Spoilers beyond this point.--- There are a couple of directions that this could go given what the author has revealed in this book. The other Metahumans who were spawned from previous metaband wielding humans!! So cool, almost like forced evolution. Does Conner have the same powers as Iris given that he is the son of two powerful metas and he just needs to figure out his own abilities like Iris?? I am hoping for this, then he could start teleportation again, which was way cool!! He could potentially teleport to the alien planet where the magtonium came from and find out what their deal is? Or will he get a new set of metabands that will allow him to get his powers back? So many things to be excited about. Hoping for about 2+ more books to wrap up this trilogy and then maybe have another storyline start! This also leaves so many potential side stories as well with the revelations that were given in just this book.I also have my theories about the machine the Kaldonia is using, it has to be from Midnight's stash of things that he tried to use on Jones during the major battle that is described in the midnight book! It will be cool to see Midnight get that back. What does the future hold?! So many great possibilities! I can't wait! Sure hope the next book comes out soon!! 6 Months at most?!! Here is for hoping. Thanks Tom!

Don't get fooled by the title
I was a little hesitant about diving right into this book, largely because the title had me wondering if I was about to read a giant bummer-fest. And it kind of was, but the ending was satisfying enough to make up for it.Poor Connor really gets the short end of the stick in this edition of the Meta series. It seems like every day he's getting in trouble or being cold-shouldered or getting the crap kicked out of him. Not gonna lie, Sarah got on my nerves in this book. It's like she decided to completely ignore any of Conner's good intentions and play the victim card for no reason. If Jim can go from being an anti-meta vigilante to Connor's roommate and primary source of hero-ing support, I think Sarah could have understood Connor's need to keep his identity a secret. All told, the book was a bit heavy, but it seems to be on an upswing heading in to book five.Conner is honestly one of my favorite book characters. In spite of all the crap being slung at him, he just keeps soldiering through with an eye roll and a quirky aside. I can't think of a better word to describe him than plucky: he has a hilarious sarcastic streak and is determined to be a good person and a good hero, even if those intentions throw a spotlight on what can be borderline ridiculous naivete. I really enjoy reading his story from his perspective. There are a lot of questions that need answering, so I'm looking forward to reading book 5 when it rolls out!

My personal favorite of the series
So far this episode has been my personal favorite. Of course the story of the series is so tight, it makes no sense to review them individually, any more than it would to review individual chapters of a book. However, this time it's clear Tom has done his homework. The previous book was boring at its first half and nearly turned me off from the series, before it picked up the place at the later half. This has The same intense rhytm from the beginning, but it remembers to let us breathe too. I was kind of let down that one character from the previous book was left off. And one of my favorite characters, Iris had just a cameo In on chapter, though her skills would have really come In handy In the final battle. But I'm positive Tom has something special planned to her In the next part.Speaking of which, the cliffhanger is a bit more Sci-Fi, than I'd prefer... But hey! It's a story about wrist bands, that give their user superpowers, so anything goes! Can't wait to get around the next one!

Meta volume four.
I liked it. The book is a quick read, with interesting characters and some good action sequences. I hope we see Conner become more mature in future, though the novels so far have taken place in only a couple of years time if I remember correctly. Start with book one, of course.

Great book!
The story keeps getting better! Just as soon as I figure out where the story is heading, you change the direction. Your plot line is intense and I love your characters. Connor is still inexperienced and he acts like I would imagine a teen aged super hero to act. Please keep this series going!

Fun Reading
This has been a fun series to read. I have one other book to read before I get to the last Meta book, it will just be a few days before I get started. This whole series has been a good read before sleep, and a very clever concept.

Awesome.
Loving the story and where it is going. At first his new nemesis seemed lame but the character grew on me. Cant wait to see what happens next! The story could use more midnight!!

Super...Duper
Another great story. The change of direction that points you towards the next book is very well done. I look forward to the next instalment. Hopefully it's not too long of a wait.

Incredibly Gripping Continuation
Tom has done it again, keeping the story fresh with new challenges and obstacles more dire and intricate than ever before. Give me more!!
