REALLY beefy chain. Works great on my hitch carrier. it hangs off the back of mine, ill upload a pic soon. Pair this with something noisy (disc alarm) and it makes taking the bike a real chore. If they want it bad enough, they will take it, but this will stop them for a while!

[UPDATE Feb '22] If you absolutely HAVE to keep your bike outside AND you want to EVER feel remotely comfortable leaving your motorcycle unattended you will want, in order of importance (and you need it all):- gps tracker hidden under the seat that will alert you to movement (I use Automile mini)- This chain (the one we're all here viewing) attached to the back wheel and an immovable object- Really good disc lock for front rotor- a 2nd, cheap disc lock with loud alarm (mostly for the difficult to remove alarm aspect)- cover w/ alarm at front AND back- optional camera that you can review remotelySo some guys went to work on my bike and were a few mm away from cutting this chain off. By the time of this incident I had a mini GPS tracker stored under the seat of the bike which alerted me to the bike being moved around. Took me about 4 minutes (longest 4 min of my life) to get home and I was able to scare the guys off. I was lucky because with a pickup truck and another 2 minutes they would've made off with my bike (these idiots busted out my whole ignition but never even got around to dealing with the disc lock on the front wheel and came in a stolen rav4...). I kept the bike in a storage unit for 3 months after getting it fixed, and ultimately got a place with a garage. You won't truly feel safe until you have a rental unit or a garage.[Old review below]Hasn't been tested by anyone (yet) fortunately, but I will say I'm confident this thing will protect my motorcycle. The chain is heavy and thick, and the component that actually locks is SOLID. Make sure you get this one, and not the shorter one because I use every inch of this chain. I attach it around a deck leg (so pretty thick wood) and have just enough extra chain to get it around the rim of my tire. With a less thick pole to attach your bike to you would be able to get this chain around the pole, your rim, and part of the frame. Lastly, I paid a lot of money for this chain, but it's definitely going to last me for a while so I would have to say it is worth the peace of mine I have from owning it.

I purchased this to protect my 2017 fz07. I also have a perimeter alarm I use in conjunction with this chain. What can I say? It's working?If I were stealing motorcycles, and I saw a motorcycle with this chain on it, I wouldn't bother. The chain links are thick and huge. I understand that no chain is 100% thief proof, but this has to be a pain in the butt to remove. I'm guessing you'd have to have a large and very formidable chain cutter to get through this. I'm often told, most criminals are looking for the easy score, while doable, I don't think removing this chain would be the easiest thing to do.The chain is nice because it has a covering that won't scratch the paint of your bike. There's also a little slide covering to protect the keyhole. That helps to avoid water from getting in the keyhole. If someone wanted to be a jerk, they could just slide the keyhole covering open and pour glue in the keyhole, but how do you stop that?One of the keys comes with a little light built into the key. The light is worthless unless you're in pitch black darkness. It's a nice idea, but it just wasn't implemented properly here. A stronger light would have made sense.Either way, I believe the money spent on this chain was worth it. At the least, it makes me feel like my bike isn't going to be the easiest one of the block to steal. At my work where I park my bike, it's a place known for wandering meth heads, and so far, no attempts. If that isn't an impressive advertisement, I don't know what is.5 stars. I love it.

I bought this lock for specific shopping runs where I have to secure my E-bike to a post that's no more than 24 inches away. Anybody thinking about cutting through this lock might as well forget it. It's worth the money and security. This lock is about 10-1/2 pounds so I only carry it on specific trips. It's worth the money and security.

I decided to secure our two electric bikes with a floor anchor into the concrete but this made the length a little two small for two bikes so I had to order two of these locks at considerable expense. Would I like them to offer the option to be like-keyed? Yes but have no idea how to do that? Over all I am very happy with the locks and hope they slow anyone hoping to steel my bike enough to show up with the Calvary.

This security chain will exceed your expectations regarding fit and finish. This is a very nice security chain and lock that I don't believe can be picked nor be cut with standard bolt cutters. The protective cover greatly reduces the potential of scratching you motorcycle.

Da mir schon einmal ein E-Bike gestohlen wurde wollte ich diesmal auf Nummer sicher gehen und alleine schon der Anblick von diesem Schloss lässt mich jedesmal erneut erstaunen. Das Teil ist Bockschwer und ohne Flex ist da nichts zu machen. Nachts stelle ich mein E-Bike grundsätzlich nur in meiner Wohnung ab aber tagsüber kann ich damit mit einem guten Gefühl mein Bike hinstellen wo ich will ohne ständig in Angst leben zu müssen, ob mein Bike noch an dem Platz steht wo ich es hinstellte oder nicht. Trotz der Schwere würde ich es sofort wieder kaufen.

Ottima catena più lunga di molte altre, pesante il giusto e quindi trasportabile anche nel sottosella. Monoblocco lucchetto solito e incastro anello protetto. Fa sperare bene, quantomeno per forzarla servià tempo e rumore, lo scopo appunto delle catene di questo tipo.

Se ve muy robusto, en fin no he probado cortar la cadena ni nada , pero con lo que pesa y la calidad que tiene .Un 10 sin rechistar.Si fuese un caco Sólo de verlo me daría pereza robar la moto.
