Maybe because these capsules are not gel caps with oil , they don't absorb well . I am disappointed with Lab results after many months of daily usage my Vitamin D labs are still low . Did not work well for me . Glad I had testing done so I can switch brands

POWDER FORM VITAMIN D3
Vitamin D should be taken with food, some sort of healthy fat. So, best absorbed in the oil form, or eat a healthy fat with this pill. THIS VITAMIN IS IN POWDER FORM. if this is what you prefer go for it, but I rather have the vitamin d in oil form.
