ColumbiaWomen's Sweet As Softshell Hoodie

I bought this jacket about 7 years ago at a Columbia store and I’ve loved it ever since. This has been my every day jacket(left jacket), I have wore this jacket unloading boxes from pallets, in the woods, and family gatherings. It light weight which is why it’s my every day jacket, I’d say it’s held up well. It definitely was starting to thin out in a couple areas and the main issue was the band around the wrist. I have been on a mission for a couple years to find this same jacket from Columbia, idk if I wasn’t looking hard enough but I couldn’t ever find it. I was super happy when I finally found it and it’s literally the same jacket that I’ve been in love with. Couldn’t be happier. The second pic is just to show the type of fabric it is. Which is the main reason I love this jacket, it doesn’t peel, or catch on anything and it’s not that loud swishy material. It’s perfect.

I bought this for my recent Switzerland trip (July 2014). I wanted something that worked well for blocking out wind, but was also lightweight since I planned on climbing a few mountains and would be going from warm weather to cold and windy to warm again.It's light enough to carry when you're not wearing it. It's great for rain. Since it's a windbreaker I was afraid it would look cheap and "plasticy", however, the look and feel it also very nice. Unless someone touches/feels the jacket they would not necessarily know it's a very thin wind breaker. I would definitely recommend.Some people have mentioned the sizes run a bit small. I would agree, but not by much or maybe it's simply preference in fit??. I am 5"2' and weight 128 and I bought a medium. The fit was perfect (just like the girl in the picture) although, aside from another thin and lightweight jacket I wore underneath a couple of times, I typically wore regular blouses and tops. I never wore anything thick and warm. Since it's a jacket maybe some people might prefer something a bit looser especially if you plan on wearing something thicker underneath.

This jacket is just what I was looking for. It's lightweight and although it likely won't keep anyone toasty warm, it cuts the wind a bit and definitely helps keep you dry in the rain. Not totally waterproof, but definitely water resistant. It fits well and there's lots of stretch. Hood is nice and covers well and I've had no trouble with it yet. Love the zippered pockets. It goes well with athletic attire and over t-shirts. Only thing I'd change about this jacket is the length. It's a little on the short side hitting slightly above my hips. Oh, well.

I love this! I am 5' 3" and about 125 lbs. My Columbia fleece jacket is a medium so I went ahead and ordered a medium and sure enough it fit great. It didn't look like I was wearing a big bulky jacket, instead it fit very nicely and showed I actually had a figure underneath the thing. At the same time it wasn't tight, it was just loose enough to move around comfortably. Don't buy it if you're looking for something to keep you nice and cozy. It's just a light jacket for the spring/summer.

The sleeves felt a little tight for the size of the jacket. Still wearable but not as comfortable as expected. Material and weight of the jacket was great. Hood could have been shaped a little less close to the neck and laid down on the back of the jacket.

I like this lightweight coat and it is fitted so it doesn't look like a garbage bag on you. Love the hood too for when it rains. The only thing is that the material catches sometimes on jewelry or other things and snags a bit. Other than that- a great buy!

Love this lightweight softshell! A medium is room enough for a sweater underneath. Hood is well sized. Jacket is extremely lightweight. I take this on travel with some under layers and can go from 70 degrees down to 30, no problem.

I love this light weight jacket. Good for the cooler mornings when I go jogging, but not too heavy when I get sweating at the end of my morning run. Would definitely recommend this item. Fits true to size.
