After a bacterium killed 31 million people, a group of rebels set out on a mission to find a cure and destroy the pharmaceutical company responsible for the outbreak. After breaking into the company’s facility, they discover a young girl being held captive. But when they help her escape, the mutation inside her body manifests itself, and the rebels discover why she has been kept under lock and key all this time.

Was this a sequel or a prequel? could work either way.
If you aren't a fan of low budget style you won't like this movie, I like it, and the effects I think are great, like the mech suits, which I thought were very well based in reality. Julia is just so cute, I love my fellow Gingers, and her 'uber' character is humanized, and it's not all Wesley Crusher where you could save 60 minutes of your life if Picard would just say "what do we do Wes?".It does seem short, the fight scenes are better than in MOLLY, but the horrible fight scenes in that movie are realistic, as most movies the hero has trained in a dojo for most of their life, Molly clearly did not, so her fighting would be very chaotic.Like the title of my review, is this a sequel or prequel? not just because Molly is alone in MOLLY has escaped some facility, and the world is in worse shape then the world appears to be in Kill Mode. So, can't wait for the third film, more Julia!

Kind of hard to watch
The story was interesting, had a slight bit of a plot twist, but nothing major. The entire movie was shot with what appears to have been a hand held camera, and it shook the entire time. The beginning sequence was creative with a single camera shot, but it felt a little like a video game. I kinda want my $4 back...

Camera movements and angles will make you sick
This movie was awful, I wish I could get my money back from renting it. Was only able to watch 1/4 of it before turning it off. Had a great trailer. The premise was fine, the camera angles and movements made us dizzy, al la Blair Witch.

Visually appealing and with a strong performance by Julia Batelaan.
I watched a screener of Kill Mode last year. My initial thoughts were, "wow they did something extremely hard to do." What? Shoot a movie on a very moderate budget with inexperienced actors, and fight sequences. Those who watch movies for pleasure, haven't the slightest idea what goes into actually getting a film made (financing), and finding talent willing to perform for peanuts. With that said, the first ten minutes drew me in. I was hooked. The credits leading into the first sequence was a nice touch. Admittedly, it was my favorite part of the movie. Julia Batelaan kept my attention (I'm a fan) but a bulk of the cast were a little rusty. Additionally, the fight sequences dragged out a bit. Would have liked to hear a bit more about the backstory (the cure, the government, etc), and again, cut out some of the fight sequences. The ending left me with many questions (which is a good thing)! All in all, I applaud the effort. Filmmaking is not for the weak. Getting it "in the can" is such a major accomplishment.

It makes no sense at all.
The premise is that a disease killed 33 million people, but was cured by a large pharmaceutical company. The people who ended the plague and saved mankind are the villains, because the "heroes" suspect they started the disease.Oh, and why would the world be on the brink if only one half of one percent of the population died? And everyone is dirty.
