Absolutely love this paint! Little tin but going by the reviews it said I should manage a front door 2 coats and we did with maybe about an inch left in the tin. Great shine and nice to apply. Drip free too, not noticed an odour and covered nicely. Highly recommended 👌

Good paint, arrived quicker than stated. The reason for stars in my option it’s not the best quality and found it very thin, 2-3 coats needed. The overall colour is really nice just takes a few goes to notice the colour.

I last painted our garden furniture 18 years ago and it was starting to flake off, so it was time to do it again - but one of those jobs I had kept putting off for a few years! In the end I bought this Rustin's Small Job Gloss Paint and am glad that I did. I found it very easy to apply. It dries very quickly, in around 30 minutes, so you can do two coats in a day. It is a great colour - brighter when you put it on and dries to a slightly darker shade. This is helpful when doing a second coat as you can see what has already been painted. In the end I used four 250ml tins and this was sufficient to put two coats on six chairs and two tables, plus a third coat on just the table tops. So a little goes a long way and we are very happy with the way they look.

Don't let the 5 star reviews fool you! This is water based 'gloss' paint and will never reach the gloss of oil based paint. Nor will it flow like proper gloss oil based paint. Here's what you need to know about this paint. I applied this to mdf over 2 coats of dulux professional primer and undercoat. It has to be applied thickly and with very little over brushing. If you over brush it will remove the paint already applied! Welcome to the world of water based gloss paint! Apply the paint liberally trying not to over brush too much. If you experience paint loss, brush vigorously over the area to re coat. The first coat will look absolutely dreadful - I promise you - you'll want to wipe it all off and get some proper gloss paint!. Those saying this looks good after 1 coat are stretching the truth somewhat! It will look terrible with streaks, brush strokes and uneven coverage - that's water based gloss paint for you. After 2 hours, re-coat... You will need to apply a further 4 to 5 coats or maybe more to achieve a smooth appearance. Yes, I'm saying you might need 6 or more coats of this stuff where oil based would only require 1 coat - this is a consequence of 'saving the planet' with water based gloss. After the 4th coat you will start to get there, you may still see uneven coverage, this is normal for the inferior water based gloss paint we are now encouraged to use. But you will eventually get there and the results will be ok but never the high gloss of oil based gloss. So 3 stars for trying! It's never going to be as good as the old days, but there you go!

Amazing paint. Used on all my scurting boards in the hallway around the doors too. Went on really well. Hardly any smell and was dry in 30 minutes as stated, which is good if you have animals walking around. Definitely use again.

Beautiful paint. Gorgeous colour. Plenty for my fridge using three coats with quarter of a tin left over. Pictures of just the pink finish and then with the added decals. As you can see it’s made a boring white fridge come to life. I added some decals also bought from Amazon to finish it off. Perfect in my shabby chic kitchen. Definitley will be getting other colours for future projects.

I was surprised by how well this paint works. The can is smaller than I expected, but the coverage is excellent. It easily covered white paint stains on a metal chair and provided a smooth, even finish. I also used it on some wooden door boards, and it covered very well there too. A little goes a long way, and the quality is great. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Love it , Color Came Out Perfect Used It To Paint My Front Door , Had To Do A 3 Layers But One Small Can Did The Job !

This paint covers very well and hardly no sanding was needed for the project.
