An introduction to the five senses and the organs that perform the functions of sight, hearing, smell, taste and touch. Review: Great book to learn about the senses - Great senses book! We have curriculum text for teaching the 5 senses, but I love the extra details that gives within the story! Review: Worth the purchase - I actually was impressed with this book and how much it explains the senses when reading it. I am glad I bought it for my son so he can look back through it and read it when heโs older to understand the senses.

Great Book, little too advances for 4s & 5s
I love to share books with my PreK class when introducing new themes. This book is good and very informative with bright and attractive illustrations. However. it is a little too advanced and wordy for squirmy PreK kids. Maybe at the end of the year it'll suit them better, but in the Fall it is a little too much. It was, however, easy to adapt to their level and offered concepts and ideas we could verbally review while in line or transitioning.

5 Senses unit
While this book is a little advanced for my PPCD students, we did use it a bit. We just went over the pages that went with sense we were exploring that day. My friend who teaches Life Skills borrowed it and said it was great for her students - 1st - 5th graders with Special Needs. It is a great non-fiction resource for any elementary teacher's personal library.
