Excellent product. I was introduced to this pain relieving gel in the past by my Physical Therapist, she gave me a tube to use at home. Physical therapy departments stock the jugs with a pump in it as well as 4oz. tubes. I have used it on and off when necessary for backaches and also on my knee. It has a pleasant minty scent but it does not linger on you. It goes away quickly and no one can tell you used a rub on medication. I believe it comes in a Cream form but I prefer the GEL FORM. I always get relief when using it and would rate it 10 STARS if I could. Amazon's amazing offer that I received on 6/20/14, included set of 3 (4oz.) tubes each, plus, 10 (5gr.) travel packets. Total order price was only $28.05. I am a senior citizen prone to back and knee pain and this product gives good relief. It's a cool,cold therapy that numbs the nerves that creates the aches and pains. The Hot Rubs never worked for me, besides the awful smell that stays with you, some people like me have sensitive skin and cannot use those rubs containing Capcasion(Hot). People I'm telling you BIOFREEZE works. Try it, you'll like it. I hope my review helps some people out there looking for relief.

I first tried this gel while in physical therapy for my wrist. My therapist had and used some on me. She said you could not buy it anywhere but that she could get it for me. Her cost to me was extravagant, but it worked and was worth it. I found it on line and was so pleased with the availability and cost, I bought three tubes. I use it every night on my hands for my osteoarthritis as well as on my feet and toes. It has a strong menthol fresh scent and works wonderfully. My husband has tried it and was amazed at how quickly it works. I plan on buying more, provided it remains available at such a reasonable cost. I plan on telling all my friends and family who have arthritis and/or joint pain. Thanks so much!

A chiropractor on our Philly Breast Cancer 3 Day was the one who introduced me to this product. Day 2 we walked up a long curvy very steep hill and came to our lunch stop at the top. The chiropractor was swamped that night - many of us had really pushed the smaller muscles in the hip and upper thigh then sat on the ground for a lunch break. Ouch!! This stuff works miracles!!! It does get really cold - I make sure I have something very warm to wrap up in while my Biofreeze works its wonders on sore muscles. Usually about the moment I get the thought "oh I'm soooo cold maybe I need to wash this off" I usually fall asleep - I think that moment of hyper cold awareness coincides with total soreness relief. Love this stuff! I even use a dab on my temples when I have a headache. No crazy smell - just immediate relief from even the most painful muscle soreness.

I have been using Biofreeze for almost one year and have been very pleased with both the pain relief and the "texture" of the gel. My order has always arrived in a clear, smooth gel - until my latest order. This order was green, and it is rather "lumpy", not nearly as pleasing as the other orders. When I looked into how I could make sure I only purchase the Clear Biofreeze in the future, I found No Way to make that happen. That's very disappointing - may not purchase again

The tingling is wierd but it works

I liked that it dried fast on your hands and it worked for a long time on your muscles. I used it it on the muscles on the back of my leg, were my calf was It helped and it worked for a long time , to relive the pain

I have used this product in the past and it can work wonders for arthritis pain or any inflamation or sore spots that would benefit from ice or menthol. These particular tubes that I got may have been old because the gel was not as potent as it should be. I looked for an expiration date on the label but could not find one. I recently used the last the small packets that were years old and they were still very potent. I would say to watch for the expiration dates or buy the small individual packets, which I may do next time.
