This is a factory OEM part Porsche 2004 996
This part is listed at the dealer for $ 640.00 plus, Pelican also have ( where I bought my last one ) for less yet more than the Bosch site on Amazon ?? Pelican could deliver faster yet I didn't need it that fast and was willing to wait a few days more. Actually came 1 day past original scheduled date. Super easy to install yet you will need a Torx #10 security Bit. Bad news is, the one I was replacing turned out out be brand new. Now have a back up for buddies.Never Stop Driving.

Replacing my Boxster's MAF fixed the P0103 code and stalling
A few weeks ago my 03 Boxster S would stall at start up and had a rough idle. The CEL came on and my scanner revealed a P0103 fault code which indicated a high current to the MAF sensor. After reading about the code, I decided to first remove the MAF and clean it with a spray cleaner for MAF sensors at my local automotive shop. This was a simple first step and something to do before you buy a new part. The rough idle was gone for a few min but after going around the block the CEL came back on with the same code. I shopped this part at a few of the bigger Porsche parts guys online (like Pelican and Suncoast) and found the Bosch part on Amazon to be about half price! During the swap I checked the part numbers and they were identical. The DIY job takes about an hour and all you need is a T20 torx security bit (hole in middle) and there are a bunch of videos on Youtube with step by step instructions. No reason to take the car to the shop for this fix if you have some basic mechanical skills.

Latest Bosch part# for a song. Love these kinda deals!!
Latest MAF available for 2001 Porsche 986S and other Porsche's @ a CRAZY low price!!! Make sure you Need a MAF first then proceed to have absolutely no worries getting one heck of a deal on this high quality part. You have to be crazy to pay what Porsche asks for this part when here it is correct as can be and same dang part as Porsche sell's although if you do enough research you may run across info stating that Porsche only Keeps the best of the lot from Bosch meaning they only supposedly keep the ones within 2% of spec. Well Bosch says these a within 5% and they guarantee no codes due to their sensor. These are premium sensors my car has been running strong and fuel economy is back where it used to be... Now we can all sit around and wait for Jake Rabies to find another catastrophic failure of our engine so we can buy who knows??? Maybe IMS Bearings made from Unobtanium and then Unobtanium 2 !! LolJust kidding Mr JR should you stumble onto this.Thank You Amazon Prime

OEM 996 MAF = Best Price
Got a P0102 code. Car was running rough at start, losing power in accelerations. Code is "Hot Film MAF sensor" what ever the heck that means. Googling it on Rennlist suggested to just replace rather then try and mess with cleaning hte MAF which some peopel tried and it did not help. It took me about 5 mins to swap this unit. Boom! No more codes on my 2002 996 C4s. This was the best price I found for this part including on Pelican parts.

Boxster S back up and running.
If your nervous about working on your Porsche, well you should be however it doesn't get much easier than this. I had rough idle and was throwing 2 codes. This fixed those problems and took about 30 minutes to install from start to done. Be sure not to touch the wire at the end of it.

MAF for 986
My Porsche 986 threw the annoying P1128 & P1130 codes. After doing some research replacing the MAF seemed like the best place to start trouble shooting. I had removed the old MAF and used MAF cleaner, but because of this price I figured just save the time and replace the unit. Car has been running better and no codes since. knock wood.

Correct MAF for my 2002 Carrera 4S
The price was right for this MAF to replace the 18-year-old sensor in my '02 C4S. I've seen prices much higher for the same item elsewhere. It arrived earlier than anticipated and was a breeze to install.

Bosch
This MAF was the answer to my prayers. I have a Boxster S which was throwing 3 codes at once, thus not allowing me to pass NYS's stringent inspection requirements. To have this replaced at my mechanic would have been many hundreds of dollars, at the least. We purchased this MAF & installed it ourselves. It cleared all my codes, and my car has been running perfectly since then. I highly recommend this!

Excellent price and unexpectedly quick shipping.
My car had very poor driveability but no check engine light. Weird. Some online searching pointed to this part being faulty. I removed it from the vehicle and searched for the BOSCH part number, and came up with this replacement.Much less expensive than the Genuine Porsche part, but the exact identical item, at 1/3 the cost. Free fast shipping included too. I ordered it on the Saturday of a long weekenhad it in two days.Problem solved. Thanks, Amazon!
