I like how the openings are not too wide yet they hold a lot. The smaller openings prevent silverware from falling to the sides. This causes them to stand up and look neat. I think the cover is ok but not very useful depending on the height of your silverware. This doesn’t bother me because I prefer to just grab verses taking a cover off first. I recommend and would buy again.

I've the cover to keep dust, insects, etc out.

I purchased this product because I am caring for a relative with cancer and it was recommended that I use plastic utensils with her instead of metal as they often add a bad taste to food. I was tired of having boxes and plastic utensils everywhere so I thought this would be good. It does what I need it to by corralling the utensils with something better that boxes and looks good sitting on the counter. My only complaint and what kept me from giving it 5 stars is I wish the lid clicked onto the base instead of just sitting on top of it. I have knocked it over a time or two.

Fits a lot of silverware. The lid does not fit tightly. It’s overpriced for what you get. Other than having to tape the lid in place, it works for what I need it for (transporting plastic utensils to tailgates).

Absolutely love this! It is so handy & I love that it comes with a lid ! Keeps dust and anything getting on your forks or spoons.

Do not buy...The lid is not functional nor does it serve any purpose. While the size of the lower half is large and can separate and accommodate a large number of utensils, this is a terrible purchase for storage or any activities such as a picnic, bbq, or camping. The lid WILL fall off and it DOES NOT prevent spillage. It basically sits on top of the lower half, and the slightest breeze will cause it to fall off, defeating the entire purpose of the item. Made of cheap plastic.

The lid did not latch or snap closed. It was advertised for RV safe. But is was cheaply made and to use in the RV I had to put rubber bands to keep it closed. It is not balanced very well either, it tips over easily. Not going to recommend this item. Not worth the money. It is going to be donated
