perfect replacement
I was only planning to use the cable from this kit, but I ended up replacing the whole system as the box at the helm was a little wider than the original cable. Works great!

Better the original
Fit perfectly on my 95 Glastron ssv 170. The no feed back is great I love it, there is no pull on the wheel no natter where you set the trim for the motor. I know hydrolic is better but costs 4 or 5 times as this. It took me about two hours to install, that's because I had to remove the outboard motor to get the cable through the tilt tube. The helm parts bolted right in and fit nicely behind the stock dash. Would recommend to anyone that needs new steering.

Performs magic
This seller and expedition partner perform magic. Order on Sunday evening (CET) and have delivery on Wednesday afternoon! In Amsterdam! For a little over $30! How is this even possible?! A package ordered downtown sometimes takes longer to reach the suburbs! Just tried to fit and fits like a glove. Good quality. Thanks a million guys.

I like the NFB system
This is stiffer than the cable it replaced. I like the NFB system. Wish it took a little less muscle to steer. Not that bad and it completely cured the boat's propensity to turn sharply after letting go of the wheel.

Is an exact replacement
All parts included and was the exact size

Dependable Brand
Third steering replacement. Each last about 10 years with lubrication through grease zerked nut. Last two have been the NFB rack and pinion systems. NFB helm was fine so I didn’t replace it. Will just order the cable next time since I still have the new helm. It’s like I have power steering now!

Good value for the money..works as it should.
I bought this to replace our original 30 year old steering system. It was easy to install using the included instructions. I would recommend this parody if your boat steering is very hard to use.

There wasn't anything I disliked about it. I used it for the steering on my 15 foot Forester Boat. Works fine
