These are METAL, not cheap plastic
Well... probably should've paid more attention to the description and reviews... these are REAL METAL swords. Not that I'd go into battle with them, but I probably won't be allowed into bars for Halloween. With that said, they'd be great for house parties. The harness, not adjustable, I should probably dock a star for that. But, I don't feel right as it's my mistake for not reading the fine print. This not a Marvel kit from Target. I can probably have a tailor add some toggles or straps to make it better. But the swords... lmao, really not toys. Halloween will be fun, that's all I'm gonna say.

Great blades. Horrible sheaths.
The swords themselves are great. Good construction and way sharper than I anticipated but that's not a problem. Except if you actually try to wear these things. The sheaths are entirely inappropriate for these blades.First of all, good luck getting these blades into the sheaths. The sharp tips of the swords will catch the fabric 100 times before the blade is all the way in. Secondly, the fabric does NOT prevent the sharp tips from sticking out from the fabric so they will scratch the hell out of anything the bottom of the sheath touches. The resting angle of the sheaths relative to one another is 90 degrees and the stitching between the sheaths is poor so the blades droop way too far to the side when you are wearing them. When combined with the points sticking out the bottom of the sheaths, scratching something on your side is pretty much guaranteed. The straps aren't adjustable so the blades rest on the middle of your back meaning you can't even reach over your shoulder to grab them.

The swords themselves are pretty awesome and worth it
The swords themselves are pretty awesome and worth it, but the sheath(s) are really not practical. Sure it looks cool, but the only way to be able to reach the handles while wearing it was to strap it around my boobs. Also, in order to put them back you have to take it off- unless you're into stabbing yourself. A lot.

Omae wa...mou shindeiru
What can I say, I bought these so that I could dress up as a Neckbeard Weeaboo. These are pretty sturdy and surprisingly sharp. Pretty good value for your money...TEME.

NOT FOR KIDS - Very dangerous!!
BIG MISTAKE! I guess it's my fault for not reading the reviews. My grandson (11) is using his own money to build a Deadpool Zentai outfit. He showed us the costume, belt, and these swords. It looked like just what he wanted to go with the costume. We ordered all three items, through Amazon. The swords were the first to arrive (belt expected next week, but the suit won't be delivered until sometime in September.) He was so excited to get the swords. He unpacked them and brought one to show me. I was SHOCKED to find they are REAL swords, with a very sharp edge and point. These are weapons and certainly not intended for costuming a child as a superhero. THESE ARE DANGEROUS!!!The scabbards and straps are cheaply made and it is certainly not possible to draw and return the swords, while wearing this rig. The blades will cut this rig to pieces, if you don't stab yourself in the back, if it is actually used very much.He was so proud of the swords that I did not return them. Instead, I put the edge and point to a bench grinder and ground off the sharp edges and point. This minimizes the potential for doing harm. We have also discussed, very clearly, that they are part of his costume and NOT TOYS. If he gets into a duel with them, they'll wind up as a wall display, in his room.Bottom line: While not "misrepresented" in the ad, it should have been made clear that these are sharp-edged weapons and NOT intended for use by children. I'm probably not the only parent caught in this misperception.Again, I accept responsibility for not reading the reviews, which would have caused me to look elsewhere. The ad, however, should include a warning to parents. I find this unconscionable and poor, dare I say "unsafe" marketing.

Material quality is trash
Swords are alright. Holsters completely worthless. My swords wouldn’t even get half though before they cut right through the material. The material needs to be made of plastic or wood. Something durable. This crap lasted me about two seconds and I was being semi gentle with it

You get what you pay for
The swords are pretty nice and they have something of a point but are NOT sharpened (no blade) the scabbard however is pretty worthless. The straps are huge and have no way of adjustment and the construction is cheap and flimsy at best. It is nigh impossible to put a sword back in once it is drawn an I have already ripped the cheap fabric. I will likely throw out the scabbard and make my own. The swords are almost worth the price but as the old adage goes: You get what you pay for.

Nice swords
These swords were delivered on time and exactly as described. Some of the reviews I read stated that the swords were very sharp and some said they weren't sharp at all. The swords that I received were very sharp and not for kids to play with. The shoulder/back straps for the swords worked very well without any issues.
