Fit as it should

I ordered the AC Delco pins and they were almost exactly alike. Same problem, diameter too large and would collapse with pressure applied. So I used my grinder and thinned them a little about half way then greased them. Worked like a charm.NOTE:I measured the diameter of the original boot insert and it's about a millimeter smaller.

Ordered these for my truck that is used for hauling heavy loads. I have no complaints as of now.

Good quality, took little time to get it to pop in. I used a screw driver and hammer to get old out. And used a socket over rubber boot to knock new in. Just as a tip 😉

I installed these on a 2008 chev 2500hd. Used a chisel to remove the old ones and applied a light coat of vaseline on outside of accordion booth and inserted booth inside a 13/16” socket so socket pushes on the steel flange of the booth. Drive in with a hammer and voila.

As mentionned by others buyers, had to be trimmed doen a little bit, I used a grinder (dremel tool), and then gently hammered it in place. Good replacement boot if you're willing to make small modifications.
