I bought these to replace some that had somehow vanished from a closet double door. Quick install, easy height adjustment to get the proper “catch”. Works as it should.

These worked very well on my closet door. Have not had any problems with them after I installed them, which was very easy. I received the product on time and in excellent condition.

Bought these for our sons closet doors because the current ones has broken somehow. These worked perfectly and were a great price. We had trouble finding them in stock at out local hardware store so went to Amazon for them and had them withing 2 days. They work great!

The media could not be loaded.  These are well made and easy to install - if you have the right screws. The screws that were included are too small for the strike plate. I had to use longer ones. Other than that, they're great. You can easily adjust the height of the ball so it catches at just the right amount of force.

Just what I needed.

These work very nice once installed. They are easy to adjust however, there are no instructions. There needs to be instructions for people who don’t think mechanically or haven’t done this before. You will have to figure it out yourself. This can be tricky. You’ll need two different size spade bits and a normal drill bit. One spade bit is for the hole in the door. I centered mine at two inches. I used 7/8 inch spade bit for this. Don’t take my word for it. Hold the part that goes into the door and place the bit behind the barrel you should only see a hair of the bit on either side. You will need to trim the edge so the piece lays flat on the door. You’ll need to take a normal drill bit, and make a little indent for the two screw indentions. DO NOT go far. You’re literally just making a little indent if you go to far your screw won’t work. So that the thing lays flat. I can’t remember the size I used for that. You’ll have to measure same way as the barrel. You don’t need to drill much just enough to lay flat. For the top plate, I shut the door so the little ball rubbed the top of the jam. That shows you where the ball is and where the center of the plate should be. You’ll need a 1” spade bit for this. Figure out the center of the plate mark your spot. Make sure you have it in the correct spot. 1” is Only a little smaller then the plate but to make it sit flat it needs to be that wide. You shouldn’t see it unless you screw up so check your bit size against the plate to make sure it’s the correct size. You will then need to mark your screw holes and use your bit again to make a indent for the screw indentions so plate lays flat. Hope that helps. Don’t forget to check bit sizes! Also, it wasn’t necessary to chisel out a rectangle in either spot. You can if you want, but I didn’t.

Easy install and adjustment. Purchased these to replace a pair and wasn't going to order more until I knew they were what I needed. Just purchased 2 more pair. 10/10

These work pretty well but had to adjust a little to work right but not to hard to do

After more than a decade with the original set on my laundry room doors which were always so stiff, I decided to try a new set. These are fabulous. They have the ability to adjust to make the catch less stiff or more stiff and also raise or lower the ball height.Installation was a breeze as these were replacements.The quality of material seems solid and these appear very well constructed.

I ordered a pack of two but the delivered pack has only 0ne piece. Pls send another piece also or else arrange for return.

Bought this pack to replace one already installed on a closet door. One day I opened the closet door and the metal ball flew out and hit the wall. All I had to do with this pack was screw in the new part into an existing mounting plate. Works great!

Work as expected.

These were for double hung solid core doors. The original spring and retainer popped out on one side.2 of these on Amazon were less than 1 at retail. Gas to buy them locally would have cost more , and these arrived overnight.Fortunately the on door mechanism screwed easily into the existing hole. Seriously, done in a minute. And I have a spare now.......somewhere.
