Our dogs really enjoy this snuffle mat! We have this one and another type, and I save some of their kibble from every meal to hide in them, and they go to town! It's a good size with a lot of layers of "fingers" for hiding kibble. It keeps them busy for a few minutes while they search out all the treats. This is a good type of mat for a dog with a large snout since there are no small pockets they have to get into. Very easy to clean too - I just throw it in the washer and dryer every couple of weeks and it comes out looking like new.

I like this toy for my puppy but there were a couple things that I wasn't too happy about. First, It has a long cord so that you can close up the grass in a ball like manner. However, our 6 month old puppy started chewing the cord and I am worried she is going to swallow the cord. I am not sure how else they can get it to close without a cord but it could pose a danger with its current design. Secondly, the grass is kind of not that deep. I assumed it would be a bit fluffier and not as easy for dogs to get the treats, but my dog doesn't have to do much to get the treats. Maybe we didn't fluff it out but it doesn't look like you can actually do that to make it harder to get the treats. Either way, it works for now but my puppy is slowly pulling the grass apart.

My chiweenie mutt loves it. She uses it as a bed when she's not eating.The felt is perfectly soft, absolutely no issues. Works great to slow her eating and give her a fun task. She's quite nose driven and she really enjoys it.

Bought to entertain the dog. Ended up putting it on a very heavy marble spinner but the dog kept ripping it off. Only way to clean is to throw in the washer. Came home one day and the dog shredded it...Didn't buy another.

I thought my Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua would be scared of it. Nope. She loves this thing!!!!!! Great way to slow down feeding, entertain them, use their instinct to snif out the food, use their nose to dig in the "grass". So cute when she first used it! I don't feed her every time with it, I save it for a few times here and there so it feels like a special treat. If she ate out of it everyday I feel like she might get tired of it but so far not. You can secure it for different hardness levels too which is super helpful so it's always a different size.

These mats are designed to let you hide little dog treats in the flaps of felt. The dog then roots around sniffing to find the treats, as though hunting through the grass for goodies. It gives them something fun and enriching to do on bad weather days. So far the mat has held up and I have not even had to wash it yet. The treats I use are dry and firm so there is not a mess. I think I can just toss it in the washer on a gentle cool cycle to wash if I need to. Not sure though. This one is green like grass, with a brown base,, though I don't think my dogs care. I can close it up to carry if I need to.

My dog, Fred, really loves this. Fred is not a picky eater, but he is not motivated by food. He’d leave his bowl of food all day and my senior dog would pick at it. However, this snuffle mat turns food into a game that requires him to sniff and search. Turns out that if I turn food into a project or a game he will eat everything! I would recommend this because it satisfies their natural urge to sniff things out.

It's bigger than I was expecting, as you can see by my staffy with his head buried in it, he really enjoyed snuffling about to get treats

My pup enjoys the use of a relatives snuffle mat so I ordered this one specifically as it is the same as the one my pup plays with. It arrived within a couple of days which is way quicker than the other items which still haven’t arrived yet! The package itself was really small as it had been vacuum packed. The mat has a draw string. Once opened the mat can be opened up to reveal rectangular pieces of felt. Best used with small treats.

Dog loves it.
