High Quality Shredder
This is a beautiful piece of equipment. It arrives fully assembled and ready to use out of the box. Even the casters are pre-installed. It looks ultra modern and sleek in the white color, almost like a piece of office art. It's very quiet. The entrance mouth is big enough to make feeding paper easy. So far it's working great. Shreds as specified to 4x12mm approx. The waste bin operates very smoothly. I also like the electronics. I had purchased a different shredder from Aurora but ended up returning it. Nothing wrong with the Aurora, but the feeding mouth was so small I had to struggle to load paper. That shredder required assembly and wasn't nearly as sturdy or nice looking. That said, the Aurora is half the price with a similar spec. It really depends on your budget and needs. If you have the budget the fellowes is well worth the difference.

An Excellent Shredder
This shedder replaced my 19 year old Fellowes 77 shredder. It is well made, very easy to use, does a great job, and is exceptionally quiet.

This shredder is a beast!
After 3 months of using this shredder, I am very pleased. This is my 3rd shredder over the past 25 years for home use. This is the first one that will grind through 12+ sheets at once. (Not sure about the 20 sheet claim but that would be tough on the motor and shredder blades of most commercial shredders.) I have had other shredders in the past that claimed they would shred 10-12 pages but they hung up with more than 3-4 sheets. This thing also shreds to very tiny pellets. The combination of the very small pieces and a large bin allows me to shred a lot more paper before I have to empty the bin. I also like that they make bags designed for the shredder bin so I don't have to guess. All in all, a very solid shredder!!

Almost a great paper shredder
I really like this shredder; big capacity for shredded material and effortlessly shreds what I put in it, however, the red light comes on for no apparent reason and I have to pull the shredded paper container out and reset the shredder to get the red light to go out. Turning the power switch on and off does not reset the red light or whatever is causing it to come on and lock up the shredder. Other than that, it works well and has a reasonable noise level.

Great shredder
Works very well, has great capacity, and not messy. Shreds small enough to eliminate security concerns. Looks great, too.

Worth the money compared to a shredding service
This is one tough shredder. It’s been running for hours with very few breaks. The chips that come out are really tiny making it essentially impossible to piece the pages back together. It’s quiet for what it does and is pretty intuitive in terms of sensing if hands are nearby and if a jam will occur. If it thinks there will be a jam it pushes the pages back out a little then pulls them back in. I will say it looses half a star because the safety sensors sometimes go crazy and the entire machine goes dark. Not until you either unplug it or pull the drawer does it turn back on. Then it works again for a while until the sensors trip again. That can be disruptive but is a minor nuisance. It appears to be caused by having your hands close to the feeding slot too many times. Sometimes though it’s not an option because receipts are smaller in size. Overall this is a great shredder with a stellar warranty of three years. Let’s see how it holds up over time. Don’t forget to oil it every time you empty the bin though.

Set yourself free...Simply the best at this price range
Quiet, Compact, Safety feature that stops shredder when a finger or hand touches near or on the shredder intake port. White is beautiful looking color but may show up the appearance of dirt on it. Had it delivered to Whole Foods and packaged in another huge box to help ensure an undamaged intact shredder. Love using it. It is fast and quiet and can't wait to "Edward Scissor Hands" my way through the paper that I needed to shred during the last three years. Feels like a Re-Birth of the Mind and Soul, getting rid of paper. The size of the shredded paper is small. Lined the interior drawer with a large black trash bag. Purchased the extended four year warranty just in case, should it ceases to work. Hoping it will last in my home and plan to shred as needed (daily not a terribly high volume of mail and junk mail, but a larger mass of my three year stockpile of paper documents). Highly Recommend this Quality product. Get it while it lasts, because once you use this one you won't go back to your other shredders.

Of course shredders never actually shred the number of papers they advertise so I would never try to shove 20 sheets in the is thing at once but wow I’ve never had (or heard of) a micro shredder before and the bin holds a ton of paper. Way more than even a cross cut shredder. If you hate emptying the paper bin all the time then definitely get this one instead of a cross cut shredder. It turns the paper into tiny confetti so a lot more of it fits in the bin. It says not to shred staples, CDs or credit cards though which is a shame.

I asked a question earlier about how to secure bags in the shredder receptacle. I ended up calling Fellowes for guidance. First, you don't even need shredder bags. Second, if you decide to use bags, there are two tabs on each side at the front of the receptacle bin (see Photo #1); take your bag and thread it through under the tab. In Photo #2, I thread the bag twice around the tab for more security. However, as the bag becomes more full, the bag will slip out of the tabs. I got two starter bags with the machine. Once the second one is used, I'll more than likely try it without. All in all, I really love the shredder (I've only been using it for two weeks). I primarily purchased it based on reputation, and I really wanted a white shredder given that all the furniture in my home office is white. Not disappointed!

Spent al good dollar on this machine and there is a great deal of the shredded material that does not get in bag. Each time you empty the bag you will have to clean the bottom of the machine of debris. There is also a great deal of shredded material on the side of the bag. Disappointed about this I am considering to call and see what can be done to return it.

Works well and runs for long periods provided you don’t overload it. Reasonably quiet given the job it’s doing, assuming you oil it as recommended. Worth the price. I would absolutely buy it again.
