I received my book today 8/26, upon paging through the book, first impression was approval. However, the pages are thin and do not allow for a crisp edge, I like too use alcohol based markers with gel pens, some reason the gel pen smudged, so I had to use a darker color for the background to cover the smudges. I feel that perhaps charging a bit more and print pages on heavier page stock, I’ve paid around the same price for popular books with better grade paper. On the flip side, the images are wonderful,

This is a beautiful book with gorgeous drawings. I have been a fan of Jim Shore for many years and have several of his pieces. However, I can’t stand the paper used in the book. It has a rough grainy feel and it is very hard to blend with pencils. Might be better with markers.

Very impressed!!Lovely book with many really nice pictures. The lines are narrow on the images which is nice. There are colored pictures of the drawings which can be used to follow or for coloring ideas. Also, there are helpful hints. Paper is decent and each page has a saying in the back of the picture. Worth the money if you like Jim Shore's art.

Good quality book, with a variety of beautiful pictures.Some Holiday themed pictures too.I especially like that there are finished colored examples included.A color by number version would be fun.

I just got my copy yesterday and I have to say I’m amazed at the artwork. This is a beautiful book. I’ve always admired Jim’s work through window shopping at Knotts Berry Farm where they have quite a few pieces of his sculptures. Makes me want to go buy one now. I look forward to the day he comes out with another coloring book.

Really great quality, stock paper, intricate designs probably not for beginners or someone looking for simple things to color. I really liked that they showed you what the completed art is supposed to look like so you can replicate the color schemes.

This is, by far, the most beautiful coloring book I have ever seen! Not only are the coloring pages fun and creative, but the introductory autobiographical information, photos, and artwork hints shared by Jim Shore were a lovely unexpected surprise!!

I like it for my watercolor brush pens. The real colors of the art page are in fold out cover pages so you can try to copy Jim’s art or use your own color ideas. It came fast and is a good quality. The cover pages can get annoying when trying to look back and forth.

Images this lovely deserve a higher quality paper. I would gladly pay more for better paper.

Je suis ravie, les dessins sont clairs et suffisamment grands pour les détails. Le livre présente aussi les dessins originaux en couleur pour donner des idées. Le papier est correct pour des crayons de couleur, mais avec de l'aquarelle ou des feutres, il est un peu fin. Les feuillets sont détachables et on peut les reproduire à la photocopieuse.
