++UPDATE++Broke on the 3rd use. Very dissapointed. Worked so well until the metal part snapped off. Have revised to 2 stars becuase it did what i needed at the time but to break after 3 goes is poor.-----------------Have to admit I honestly thought this wouldn't work. But was amazed it actually did!Had 4 tubs of Olives with pits delivered as a sub this week so needed somethig to help me get the pit out. You Tube videos had me crushing the olive with the palm of my hand. This did work to some extent but you end up very messy and with a olive in lots of bits.Did a search Amazon for a cheap tool and this popped up so I gave it a go and am very pleased.I needed 2 hands to pit the olives but I'd imagine soemthing softer liek a cherry would require one.Very impressed.

Does just what I bought it for, easy to use and clean. The stones do not always eject but that is my only criticism.

Easy to use, easy to clean, not too big, not too small. Excellent!!!

It is very pleasing that this tool works so efficiently. It has a tab at the junction of the tool to keep it locked closed to take up less space in the drawer. I have both hand washed this tool and put it through the dishwasher and had not issues. It feels like it should last and look good for a life-time.

I love this thing - takes away the indelicacies of eating cherries and makes them taste all the better for it- if you love cherries (and/or olives) buy one - you definitely need it!

Really wish I had bought one of these little gadgets years ago. Well worth the space in a drawer. Works like a dream with little effort.
