Five Stars
A very good and concise summary of Palladio and his works.

Palladio
A bit too academic for me - but a masterful study of the master architect. It's good to find a book written by an academic that is less than 500 pages long.

GOOD VALUE
A good introduction to the life and works of this influential architect that has inspired others right up to the present day

Excellent book. This is the same book in paperback that is going for $800 hardbound.
A great overview of Palladio, in a compact version. I was amazed to see the same book, large hardbound version being offered for $800 . Buy the small version, has the same text, and is good for all levels of interest in architectural history, art history. Accessible, yet scholarly.

thorough intro to his work
Glad to have read in depth prior to traveling to the Veneto. Will enjoy recognizing, confirming, etc. concepts I read here.
