I am very pleased with these towels. They are heavyweight, durable as well as soft. I finally own a new car and I want to take care of it. I use these towels to quickly dry the windows and they easily and effectively absorb water. They can also be used to dry the hood and all fenders. I also use these towels when I am polishing my car. They are ideal for removing dried polish. I would definitely recommend.

This review is for the 30" x 36" The Gauntlet Microfiber Drying Towel from The Rag Company. I've been using microfiber for years of various qualities and grades, and I have amassed a garage full of car care products over the years. I was looking for the absolute best drying towel that I could find for my car. I wanted something that was plush, extremely absorbent, and had some weight to it so that I could drag it over non-flat surfaces to absorb the water. I also of course wanted something that wasn't going to leave streaks of water behind. I did a lot of searching and going through many reviews.The absolute best drying towel I found was The Gauntlet. It does the job flawlessly. I am able to drag the towel across the car and absorb all the water without leaving streaks in just a single pass. I had no problem drying my car with just this single 30" x 36" towel. The plushness made it easy to dry vents, slats, and wipe down edges. I also very much like that each side is a different color. It is a nice convenient feature as you can keep track of which side you have been using so far. The towel felt like it weight about 5 lbs after I was done drying my car. This towel could have absorbed more water, as no matter how hard I squeezed or tried to ring it out not a single drop of water came out. I have seen multiple review where people were able to dry their entire car with just one of the smaller 20" x 30" sizes, and I fully believe it. I recommend consider the size and weight after it absorbs water, and go with the size you prefer.Pretty much all microfiber will work better after the first wash or two. This is so that any potential loose dyes come out, removes any potential residue/contaminants from manufacturing/shipping, and also opens up the microfibers. This will increase its cleaning and absorbency and reduce the potential for any dye transfer. Always be sure to wash microfiber only with other microfiber and to follow all directions. Microfiber gets ruined if you use fabric softener or if you dry it with heat that it can't withstand.

I have only used this towel once so hopefully it remains the same, but this is by far the best drying towel I have ever used. I have been through many of them over the years. This towel was absolutely incredible drying my vehicles. I washed two vehicles back to back and it worked perfectly on both. I did follow the directions and wash it first. Not sure how much that affected it, but if you want to dry your vehicle quickly and effectively, buy this towel. A+ by far!!!!!

I recommend to strictly hand wash these only (don't even wash alone in washing machine, as they will pick up the tiny fibers left in washer from the previous load) They are incredibly absorbent and the best drying towels I have ever used. No fuzz left behind.

These work so great, and they really do dry cars fast. The only thing I wish it was a little larger but it depends on your needs. One side works great for 60% of the car. Mine would leave small specs of dust or residue at first but I’m sure that was because of the packaging. Now they dry so nicely.

Very absorbent and holds alot of water when drying car. It's very soft as well. Absorbs very well while wiping car and will not leave water streaks like some microfiber towels. So glad i bought it. It's on the expensive side, but works very well and is worth the money. I'm glad i bought it. I bought the large size, but comes in various sizes to fit your needs.

These towels were recommended to me by the person who put a ceramic coating on my car for drying when doing a rinseless car wash. They worked well. Seemed to be reasonably absorbent, but I found that two weren't quite enough for my smallish SUV. They were soft enough, and when I prewashed them there wasn't a spec of lint in the dryer lint screen. Had no trouble with them leaving streaks or residue from the rinseless wash product. Kind of expensive, but they did a good job.

I had other cheaper drying towels since I didn't think it'd make a difference but after a couple of car washes in this weather , I quickly figured I'd try this one out. WOW! this thing dries each panel with one single toss and pull. It's thick and fluffy and grabs the water w one swoop. I can dry most of my car with this one towel and then finish off the windows with my smaller waffle towels since by the time I get to my windows this one is pretty soaked (I have a Honda sedan) This saves me time and my back too! Should've bought this earlier but better now than never. Might buy a second one for the days I am washing more than one car at a time as I get faster at my detailing.

Great quality drying towel! Very soft and absorbs a lot of water after rinsing vehicle. Overall size is great and the one towel complete drys off the vehicle without needing another towel!

He lavado hasta 2 carros (medianos) y seca muy bien. Lo único es que las fibras se pueden llegar a descoser cuando se pegan a alguno de los emblemas del carro y se rompe un poco sencillo en ese aspecto, pero ya llevo 6 meses con la toalla y sigue funcionando de maravilla.

El producto es genial, no deja arañazos y absorbe bien la humedad

El paquete de 3 toallas llegó bien y en buen estado. Son toallas de calidad para un mayor cuidado del automóvil. Las recomiendo.

I have just used this for the first time and reviews are 100% correct! Makes drying off the car so easy. Incredibly absorbent and makes other microfibres I have, redundant!
