Bought this for my nephew for Christmas because all he wanted was a spyglass. Darn thing is real, made of brass, glass and leather. Riveted with a leather case and leather wrapped. The whole family was very impressed. According to my nephew it also works perfectly. Highly recommend for real use or a display piece.

The spyglass was a bit heavier than I thought it would be, but that is a plus for me. The item looks amazing and the case is a nice touch. I myself could not get it to focus while looking into the spyclass, but that might be my own fault.

The burnt orange color on the spyglass and case rubs off and stains the hands!

Compact, easy to store in a vehicle and very easy to use even when wearing glasses. Excellent when spending a day on the ocean to see ships or out in the mountains looking into the valley. Nicely designed and would be a great gift for anyone who enjoys sight seeing or people who like nautical items.

We are using it for a theater production. It looks great. The only thing is that the threads on the larger section were stripped. Won't tighten. We used E 6000 to make it secure. Should work well

This telescope was bought as a gift to my pirate loving 4 year old. It's amazing quality and extends to be quite long. Works great too, the little case it comes in is also beautiful, you won't be disappointed, I wanted to keep it for myself!

Can anyone explain how to get these to focus please ? I have bought 2 for my grandsons and neither my husband or I can get either of them to focus ?
