A great work around for the USB type C to 3.5 mm jack connection
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. East to use just plug and play, For just under £8 this is a well-built product with some nice beading as wellThere is no loss of sound that I could hear, it will convert your type C connection to works as a 3.5mm Jack Headphone Adapter, I tried this on a number of devices (My wife's phone my tablet and my PC) and it just works without the need to go into the settings of the device that you are using, and you can bend the cable up to 10,000 times. If you're looking for a small form factor 5.19" long cable USB C to 3.5mm Jack Headphone Adapter this could be the one for you.Get's my thumbs up

Great option to restore the 3.5 mm jack!
Disappointed with the lack of the missing 3.5 mm jack on your phone? Look no further, this little gadget will solve the issue. I've just got my Samsung S20+ and foolishly forgot about the 3.5 mm jack!I have Bose earphones and they work fantastic with this Type C USB adapter. The volume control on the earphones works really well in addition to the volume control on the phone. The adapter is quite small so no extra trailing wires. Have to say, the fit is snug to say the least! At least no danger of it becoming loose. All in all, a great little adapter. Time will tell about durability but appears well made.

Stopped working after 1 month - Update: company communication dodgy, but received refund
After little over a month of light use, the adaptor stopped playing sounds properly. At first, the left ear would fade in and out but within days, all of it failed.Update: I was contacted by the customer support about this review. The customer support displayed several signs of bad practice: 1) they asked me to contact them by email, outside the amazon messaging system. 2) they offered to send a new item. However, this process would have either come with a long waiting time or required me to order a new item and then receive a refund.I refused to do either of these things and thought that was the end of our interaction. Surprisingly, I was refunded anyway - but with a request to update my review. I am doing this now but keeping the overall rating the same; after all, the quality of the item did not change. Additionally, I'm not comfortable with the requests the company made during our communications.

Sounds great, good volume
I bought this little USB C to 3.5mm Jack Headphone Adapter to connect my Samsung Galaxy Note + to my AKG 701 headphones. It sounds amazing. Now my previous DAC was the Audio Quest Dragonfly, which sounded great, but it won't fit the Note. Now with the Dragonfly I had to push the volume right up, to get a decent sound level on my 701's as they are hard to drive. But not with this Adapter, there is plenty of headroom, and what's more, it sounds better than my Dragonfly which was £80!This may possibly be, in part, due to having more volume, but honestly, I am listening to albums on Amazon HD which is lossless and the music sounds amazing. I don't know how they managed this for under £10.There is no noise, no hiss, no crackle - just music. So the shielding certainly works.I'll be honest, I only got this for a quick fix after buying the Note, while I explored DAC's that had USB C connections. I've stopped looking. This really is more than good enough. If you partner this with a decent phone, and stream at the best quality you can get (Amazon HD recommended), you will be knocked out by the quality. Recommended.

My first review was removed!
I left a genuine review of this product advising that I felt it wasted a huge amount of resources with excessive packaging and the inclusion of unnecessary wrapping, a cable tie, stickers and a rubber carry case (for a cable that's 6cm long!).The review was published then I immediate received an email from the seller.A short while later my review disappeared! Thanks Amazon!

So disappointed
Absolutely shocked at how bad the durability is. I've only used it for a couple of weeks and now I can only hear audio from one side of my earphones. I've tested the earphones on another device and they're absolutely fine. I suggest you buy usb c earphones or go wireless. Avoid these at all costs.

Very poor durability
I've owned three of these now and they've all failed after a couple of months of very occasional use. The first kept popping out of my phone, the second cut out and now the third was constantly triggering Google Assistant. Frustrating and a waste of time and money. Don't trust other reviews that have only used them for a short amount of time!

Amazing sound quality
Waiting for my new Samsung S21 Ultra to arrive but disappointed that Samsung have dropped the 3.5mm port. I own several high quality earbuds some costing well over £150 each. I really didn't want my investment in high quality headphones to go to waste. Having read numerous reviews and watched YouTube videos I selected this adapter. As my new phone hasn't yet arrived I have just tried this adapter on my Samsung S10 +. First with the earbud cable in the 3.5mm port and then switched straight over to the adapter plugged into the USB C port OH WOW ! If the sound quality had been the same I would have been more than happy but its so much better I wish that I had bought it earlier even though I didn't actually need the adapter. Very happy, dont think about it folks its a sound quality upgrade over the Samsung internal DAC
