A kids special box much loved, but it left a mother wondering if the "treasures" were collected sustainably and/ or ethically.
I thought the box a little expensive when I bought it, but I did a lot of research before ordering it. Initially, I thought it must be easy to buy a similar used box for my seven-year old son's treasures. I checked Ebay for apothecary drawers, small wooden drawers, etc. They were all more or less expensive than I thought with or without shipping, or too small to effectively use. So, I ordered the medium World Discovery Box and my son loves it. All these treasures to study and more drawers for the treasures he already has!One note, though. The World Discovery Box comes in a box from China, so it left me wondering if all the shells, sea stars, sand dollars etc. were ethically and/ or sustainably-collected. I am left with an uneasy feeling. More information would be welcomed, as would some reassurances of its contents.

they motivate interest in sience ( taught earth science for 24 years)
This is the second I have bought for a Grandson, his brother specifically ask for it for his birthday. The only negative is the number of rock etc we must carry home, not really bad.

Encourage a love of nature!
My children ages 2, 4 and 7 have throughly enjoyed this box. Comes with a good assortment of "discoveries". VERY well made. Many places for additional finds from mature walks. Looks great in our home. For the price of a few toys they will be bored with before you turn around, you could have this interactive, nature discovery center. It is priced a little high compared to the Magic Cabin website.
